ZOT! How does one contact a Free Republic "representative?"
Posted on 12/02/2004 8:43:40 AM PST by SpikeyInWis
A thread that I started got pulled without explanation by a Jim Robinson. I'm new here and don't know how to ask the appropriate person (Jim Robinson) why. How do I do that please?

Yeah there are gratuitous unpleseant remarks that are made by people everyday here and everywhere. Are you going to ask the whole world to just get along. Everyone has their own opinons and are free to express them. Just as you and spikeyinwis are free to ignore those that you don't find to you liking. It is called being adult about it. If you are that sensative that you are offend by some offhand comments whether in jest or poking close to the truth of that matter, perhaps there are other forums that you need to explore. This is a Free place to speak freely only guided by the Mods and Jim Robinson himself. If Jim or the Mods deem anything said here is out of line they will pull it. conversly if you think it is abusive it is with in you rights to report it. If it does not fit either of those just ignore it and move on. Spikeyinwi needs to learn to roll with the punches. If he wants a group love society where everyone will say nice things and agree with his ideas that is what the DU is for. This is for the exchange and discussion of idea.

I failed to see any whining, just a legit question. But of course, since the person in question is a newbie, obviously he's a DU plant. RU being sarcastic with this statement?

Today is the day I stop being a lurker.Very good. The first thing is that you admit you're a lurker and want to stop lurking. You can't stop lurking without the help of a higher power, such as Jim Robinson.
It won't be easy, and you must attend FR meeting regularly. Don't be ashamed to admit you're a recovering lurker and are now a Freeper, it's for your own good.:)

I've done so to some of the Moby types.
Being truly inhumane, I play something from the disco era prior to Neil Diamond's "heartlight" tune.

Hey, I've always ran with the rough crowd....how do I go about getting banned?Careful.... and don't do it unless you have a "representative". The poster of this thread didn't have one, but 2J did... "I got my posting priviledges back after a fellow Freeper vouched for me. "
I think we all need a Free Republic "Representative".

Isn't that something? To think she played herself off as a goody two-shoes all this time.

Ya I started out as a lurker too. Now I'm on here all day long, ignore the whole world, sit at my computer and type to people that I will finally meet in January! Life is good.

Found this neat thing sold by US Cavalry on their website.
They call it a 'stealth suit'.
Keeps you from making too much noise with your uniform.
Works pretty well with the chainmail and all.
