DISCRIMINATION against gay men, lesbians and bisexuals could be responsible for high levels of mental illness and self-harm, research suggested today.

A study found that attacks and bullying could be linked to the widespread mental disorder that homosexuals appear to suffer.

Actually, the average male has about 10 sex partners in his entire life. In addition, males tend to exaggerate the number of sex partners they've had, while women tend to minimize them.

Oh. Well thanks for the clarification. I don't think it is abuse in every instance either. I do think it is abuse in very MANY instances. In no instance do I think it is just a normal part of an individuals biology. Clearly their bodies were designed -- or evolved or whatever -- for normal heterosexual relations. Lesbians ovulate, have periods and all of that. Gay men have sperm for what? And their rectums function in all the ways they are supposed to as part of the alimentary canal. What they do sexually can actually harm that natural function.

This is true! I know from experience. However, they seem to have the cause/effect relationship screwed up. It's the bullying itself which causes/is linked to both the self-loathing and the homosexual tendencies.

I say I know because I was bullied in elementary and high school; it (Along with the... other troubles... that I've had) completely emasculated me and made it much easier for the gay propaganda to get me.

What causes the evil desires, then?

This is something that I'm genuinely wondering about. I know that I have evil desires because I'm a fallen human, but what causes them? Somewhat ironically, this is what we're discussing in my Christian Philosophy class at this time, but I still haven't received a satisfactory answer. Saying, "It's the way I was brought up" doesn't help too much.

So what makes me more vulnerable to homosexual desires than, say, violent impulses?
