I'm sure this is a form email, but that doesn't take away from the message.

Checks can be sent to:

Steve Gardner PO Box 908 Clover, SC 29710

Steve also accepts PayPal at sgardner5@carolina.rr.com

Before anyone asks, Steve Gardner is a Swift Boat Vet front man who lost his job- as he became involved in politics.

Just playing devil's advocate here . . . isn't that a risk that anyone who gets involved with politics takes?

i saw that dorky Colmes trying to discredit Garner & Co on FOX last night. Boy, did Gardner give it back to him when Colmes stated, "your claims have been disproven." Gardner said, "Name one claim of ours that has been proven false?" Colmes had no answer. Great job, Steve.

Hey, I got one, too. It was awfully nice for him to take the time to personally thank those who are supporting him. It's even NICER that he (as mentioned above) helped prevent Frankenstein from becoming POTUS. Whew! A very BIG thank you, Steve and SwiftVets.

The Washington Times has an editorial about Steve in today's paper - A Veteran in Need.

I started out to donate 20 bucks to a great American, Steve Gardner, but after reading some of the posts of people who seem to think he deserves nothing, it has increased to 50 and may go higher the more I read.

Aside to Mr. Gardner; I also served, '66-'67, full 12 months in country, not as a Swift Vet. You are really a true American hero in my eyes. I always said America would never in a thousand years elect as their President "someone who had betrayed his country". I was gladly proven right.

If Steve Gardner spoke out against Kerry knowing his job might be on the line from his 'Rat bosses, he's twice the hero now in my eyes.

To those who don't want to contribute, fine. But you don't have to try to dissuade others to not kick in. I think we're all capable of sorting wheat from chaff in this case, and we don't need your negativity to help us out.

I never had a chance to repay the unsung and reviled decent Viet vets engaged in a horrible war. The chance for me to do something arose when I contributed to the Swifties for their ads, and now to Steve Gardner.

Donations to Steve are not about putting food on his table. It's not about the fact there may be more needy charities. It's not about the fact we're stupid and don't know enough about how to dispose of our bucks without help.

To me, besides the fact I WANT to help, it's about guarding the Swifties' backs (all of 'em) and not letting the liberals have a victory in ruining another life.

I'm doubling my contribution thanks to a few of the attitudes on this board.

I was going to contribute to Gardner before. After reading through this thread, my desire to contribute not only hardened but I am contributing tonight rather than awaiting my next paycheck.

This is not charity. It is a Gift, one I make with a grateful heart.

God Bless Steve and the other Veterans for their continued service to this nation.

Money on the way.

To those on this thread who think that only certain charities should receive donations: my nephew has cerebral palsy, but I can find it in my heart to give to both.

Thanks for posting this information. He didn't speak out about his service in Vietnam for 35 years. But he did when his country needed him too, and at great peril to his own well being.

We both pray America will step in and help him, thats the least they should do for what he did. We know the media tried to fry this man because he told the truth about "their" candidate. God Bless him, and we hope he gets enough money to show his "EX" employer that America knows what they were trying to do and said "NO WAY".

My wife and I received a nice "Thank You" letter from the Gardners. We were more than happy to contribute to the Gardners for Steve's brave (more than you can imagine) contribution to preventing the pathological liar, John Kerry, from becoming President. Thank God for Steve's sacrifice. God bless the Gardners.
