"Apparently the humanity is getting it on in the school yards without condoms."

Well, that does encourage more humanity.

---and probably more liberal dependence humanity.

Right, what are we arguing about???? ;) it doesn't matter, because after the vote is certified, the Slate of electors are Bush electors and Only the HoR can challenge them.

Maybe they just want us to oppose them so they can scream in '08 that Republicans blocked recounts.

Thats not true... a recount paid for by someone on the ballot can ONLY be done after Blackwell Certifies the vote. It can not be done before that.

"I think they are spending money that was collected for this purpose and need to spend it."

Now this sounds like what happens at work. You need to spend the budget in order to get the budget the next time around.

They did alot of fundraising for this very purpose (GELAC?), so it's burning a hole in their collective pocket.

Actually the vote gets certified but the electors are not officially slated untill Dec 13 (the first Monday after the second Wednesday in December) so they better get going

Is this listed under humor? Good grief, this will NOT go over well with the American people. I guess Republicans will just have to settle for the Presidency AND a much bigger majority in both the House and the Senate! ;)

Agreed - follow the money.

And I think if they don't look like they are pushing forward with this they are going to loose a large chunk of the loony left to American Communist Party or the Greens.

OOOps, need to correct myself the electors need to be turned in on the 13th of Dec. The electors need to be officially slated 6 days prior Dec 7th.

I agree. However, for the uptenth time, Once a vote had been certified by the Secretary of State of a given State, the electoral slate can only be challenge by the house. There won't be any hanging chads etc. Kerry would have to overturn 127,000 votes. Generally during a recount, the winner actually picks up votes.

if there is a different outcome, a second slate of electors would have to be sent to Washington. Then each state blah blah blah and.

Kerry would have to come up with 127,000 votes plus and convince both houses and the Governor of Ohio that this recount is legit.

Didn't Kerry already pick up 9,000+ votes from the Cleveland area as a result of a recount, or was that from counting of provisional ballots?
