Muslims in Britain want greater recognition of their faith with the introduction of Islamic law for civil cases and time off for prayers during the working day, but are equally committed to greater participation in British life.
A special Guardian/ICM poll based on a survey of 500 British Muslims found that a clear majority want Islamic law introduced into this country in civil cases relating to their own community. Some 61% wanted Islamic courts - operating on sharia principles - "so long as the penalties did not contravene British law".

This is too good to be true. Holland and the other liberal European nations are just now starting to get the message. Their tolerance for anything and everything that isn't American or Christian is starting to come home to roost. It won't be long before all of Europe will be part of the Islamic Empire. Let's see how they like that.
The West would be very wise to offer Moslems $1 million per family to move back to the middle east, and put a freeze on all new immigration from the middle-eastern states, of Moslem people. The warning signals are very clear.
When the back lash in Europe comes, and it will, it will be ugly. The USA had better wake up too. NO MORE MUSLIMS!
What do you want to bet the British government's response to this will be to increase immigration levels by 50%?
They're so THICK. I can't believe what they're letting these people get away with. Oh, well, in 20 years or so they can't say that they weren't warned.

The island would soon be rid of the rats. If they don't denounce Allah, then they are crippled or beheaded. Their numbers would soon shrink. The only Muslims left would be the "good" Muslims that don't break the law. I predict alot of conversions if they had to live under that crap. Why did they leave home in the first place?
This is the same principle we are using in Iraq. We are getting rid of the people that would vote the "wrong" way, slowly but surely. Soon their will only be "democrats"(small d), left to vote.
That is a reasonable conclusion; and I hope you are right. . .but like the analogy offered by 'eluminate' of the rider on the subway being asked to give up his seat. . .
. . .I would bet that this insight will be lost on the typical Lib, who will not 'get it'; until he himself, is sitting in the next subway car, wondering how he got there.

the problem I see is it starts with small things and then eventually leading to demands of introducing reforms that would help "cultural cohesion" by spreading islamic way of life upon those whom are ignorant and must be enlightened in order to not be racist.

You mean British Muslim immigrants? I cannot remember how Canada has handled these same requests from their 'Muslim populaiton'. . .citizen or otherwise.
Western governments should know by now, what to expect from large populations of Muslims who immigrate into their countries. And they should be figuring out what to do about it.
if they want muslum law there is an easy and simple solution.Get the hell out of britian and move to yemen, sadia arabia, pakastan, jordan, dubai, united arab emeriats, ...etc...etc...etc
