I think my vote on Nov 2nd will suffice on punishing those who preach violence and hate.

Will there be any distinction between a cleric that condones the faithful to defend there land against aggression and those that issue the "fatwas" against the innocent? Will this also be turned upon itself and include anyone, Christian, Islamic....etc, from preaching national protection against combatants or issuing these kind of "fatwas"?
I really don't trust the UN to not corrupt the original intent to something that becomes a "fatwas" of their own.
The UN has morphed into something that is rather self-indulgent.

It sounds like a wake-up call to American Muslims if they wish to remain here. I only wonder how this group will fare with the Wahhabi Muslim extremists prevalent in some U.S. cities and proselyting in U.S. prisons.
The Our Positions, What We Believe In is particularly interesting, if we can believe it's not the Muslim camel's nose poking under the American tent.

No thanks! I have no use for the UN or its supporters. We seem to be doing very well cleaning up the problem right now.

"And on July 3, 2004, he issued another fatwa permitting the killing of Muslim intellectuals as being apostates, claiming that Islam justifies the killing of such apostates."Speeding up the reverse Darwinism even more.
On another note, I wonder why this petition isn't headline news? </rhetorical question>

This arena makes me leery. The decadent and corrupt UN is involved. I don't trust that organization at all.

I think the Muslims would be wise to reexamine the Koran to remove some of the explicit calls to violence.
note: don't rely on the UN for anything. It has no leaders and is corrupt beyond repair!

I hope this is for real. It is about time someone in the Muslim community took a stand against the raping of their religion they claim is so peaceful! So far, I've seen the opposite.

Q: Is this "Free Republic Network" the same one that first came into your mind?

some of their followers consider their opinions to be gospel. Is that the same thing as saying "Paris is a Mecca for cheese-eaters and wine drinkers"
