Linda Evans on Bonanza??? YOWZA...
Not Bonanza, The Big Valley.
Do Ren Hoek and Stimpy Cat count?
Another one of my favorite characters, though he played kind of a bit part, was that perpetually pissed-off chef in Northern Exposure. He was too antisocial to make it in the city, so he lived in a cabin in the deep woods of Alaska where he prepared fine gourmet cuisine for himself.
Thanks...my bad.
You mean "Enemy at the Gates", playing Khrushchev? That was Bob Hoskins.
My favorite Lou Grant:
"Ya got spunk."<a beat>
"I HATE spunk!"
Lame list, too many current phonies
No Perry Mason?
No Tattoo? "De plane, de plane!"
No Les Nesman or Latka?
Thanks for the trip. Gotta go out back and wait for Bambi's mom to come down to the lick.
Ah-thega-Ah-thega That's all folks.
No Clayton Moore: aka The Lone Ranger?
Also, how can you have a list like this and leave Sgt. Saunders out while including the whole d@mn cast of Will and Grace?
Rat Patrol
12 O'Clock High
Gallant Men
i agree with kramden, bunker (i would have Bundy 3rd)but they are forgetting BIG BIG flames of the 60's had all the ratings(no i didnt watch) the dr's kildare and ben casey
He's on the list, #28.
That makes at least three of us.
Stoney Burke (Jack Lord)
Warren Oates got his start on this TV show in 63.
This is a sham! They missed Captain Kangaroo....Well, I think they're only ranking fictional characters. ;-)
...Sgt. Saunders...easily in the top ten if you know about him.
Hmmm, that was a haunting character. From a show that was way ahead of its time.
This list is clearly put together by a metro-sexual committee of gen Xers who believe that nothing existed prior to their being here to witness it. All the fifties and most of the sixties characters are Nick at Night re-runs, that's how these kids even knew about them in the first place.
LOL!
No Cpl. Agarn!
Goooooooolyyy, they left out Gomer Pyle!
THE CONEHEADS!
