I guess I'll have to say it again. I AM NOT AGAINST THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

One of my daughters is even married to a Democrat. She was always a little strange.

The Democratic Party, per se, is not an "evil group of people attempting to destroy our country." There are many Democrats in our country who are decent patriotic hard working people, with only the best interests of our country in mind. The party has brought forth issues and ideas that could and would benefit all of us. I would love to support some of those ideas, but can't. We are forced to accept the bad along with the good and for the past 30-40 years the bad aspects of the party have far outweighed the good...

I have decided to take it upon myself to make some suggestions on how the existing Democratic Party, without any changes, can win the Presidential Election in 2008.

Naturally, they don't have to take my advice. After all, I'm just part of the "Hillbilly Vote." However, since I received my college degree I wish you would refer to me as a "Mountain William Vote."

1-Be sure to nominate Hilary Clinton or even John Kerry again

I read the whole thing ... well, the linked article and the one on the page prior to it ... and WOW, talk about powerful. However ... I'm a little afraid that if we keep pointing out the REASON why they lost, they WILL change ... just enough to snooker enough of the unwashed masses into voting for them.

Wrong! - Agreed this is the problem there are still some people who think democrats are not attempting to destroy the country - this sort of thinking is wrong and allows their agenda to flourish!

There is no way to save the democratic party. This country was founded on basic principles and ideas which the party is always trying to "improve." My mom used to say 'if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it." These people are compulsive fixers. It's the same reason the education system is in trouble--some "fixers" decided that the "three r's" needed improving. Now our kids can't read, write, or do math.

There is so much talk now about how things used to between Repub and DUmmo's. It seems the Dummo's are facing reality that they will have little to say and will do everything they can to disrupt and weaken or waterdown the Republican agenda. They want the Republicans to reach across the aisle. To reach back, listen to thier point if view.

Nothing with listening to their point of view, but that's it!! These domineering A$$holes rammed their policies down our throats when they were in power for nearly 50 years.

They are paranoid that they're large and little giveaway programs to their constituents will be dissolved. This is how the Dummo's keep their voter's. The handouts the third and fourth generatiion handouts. The WIC, PIC and all the other programs that should not be. They are nothing more than FORCED CHILD SUPPORT PLACED ON THE TAXPAYERS for couples who have refused to assume responsibility for their OWN children.

The "Progressives" as they want to be called now, have the same agenda as the Dummo's and the liberals and the Socialist who are now wanting to be called "Progressives" These people have more names that Saddam Hussein had pictures of himself hanging in Iraq. They keep looking for that MYSTICAL name that will caatapult them back into power. Even though it's the same old and tired propaganda of the previous labels.

The solution to their tactics to act like centrists/moderates and send Hitlery to church the next four years: we gotta wash the unwashed masses. Specifically, to paraphrase a song from South Pacific: We gotta wash that Marx right outta their hair --and brains.
