There was a discussion about the average IQ of a Kerry or a Bush supporter a few days ago. I was skimming along an Urban Legend site and found this little tidbit....
Hey Mike!
I see you're a short timer now.
Stay safe!

IQ and Voter Preference
|
Heck - when compared to Kerry's military records, my records indicate I have a much higher IQ than he does. I'm a retired Air Force NCO and have settled in Mississippi and voted for Bush. I challenge Kerry to publicly prove me wrong.
There is demographic evidence that would seem to indicate, by inference, that the average Kerry voter has a lower IQ than the average Bush voter. That's all I am gonna say.
I wish someone would create a map of the blue counties and overlay a similar map. Since urban area heavily voted for Kerry, and urban areas are also the home of very poor performing schools it should be interesting.
A quick listen to Hannity's man in the street interviews easliy proven that New York City blue voters were dumb as a stump. Just before the election a huge number didn't even know Kerry's running mate they were going to vote for. My youngest daught knew that and could recite the major policies of both sides.
Just remember, there are lies, damn lies and statistics.
I would think the red counties vs. the blue counties would show idiots living in the blue counties.
It cannot be said enough. Nationwide, as people's education level increases, they are more likely to vote Republican, through the master's degree level. People with Ph.D's make a sharp turn to the left, however. I suspect that Ph.D's are statists who want to preserve the status quo which favors paper crendentials over experience and results. (Teachers should make less than truck drivers.)
Masachusetts gave us a Murderer and drunk (Kennedy), a war criminal and liar (Kerry) and a Queer(Barney Frank) and they are smarter?? I would rather be stupid.
What Mass. Genius figured the cost of the Big Dig?
My state Maryland came out good on the chart, has anyone ever visited the Counties where Kerry won?/ Believe me they are filed with affirmative action employees that got work thru lowered standards.
Campaign expenditures, hundreds of millions; Kerry's shock, priceless.
Okay, let's try this one on the liberals - If IQ were measured in cents, Kerry supporters wouldn't have two pennies to rub together.
The 'rat-libs have long flattered themselves on their intelligence. It is based, as far as I can tell, aside from general self-aggrandizement, on the observation that university faculties, with all their higher degrees, tend to be overwhelmingly liberal.
Of course the fact remains that the campus is a tightly isolated hothouse where all manner of strange and exotic intellectual mutants thrive, while their more rubust cousins who live and work in the real world take a very different voiew of the world. Overall, the higher the education, the more conservative the politics.
Liberals are imbeciles. Sixty million Americans agree!
Don't hang your hat on those stats. The smartest people in those blue states voted for Bush.
Not measurably though.

Democrats are literally aborting themselves out of existence!
Oh! They let us win so President Bush and the R'ahs can really screw things up and set up a Hillary run in 2008.
(And they call us ignorant! Geezz!)
What's the talk on the street about the upcoming elections?
What's up with all this talk about postponing the election over there?
Is that from the people fearful of voting or the different sects postering themselves?
