Well... you all said it here first. The gun-grabbers are definitely jumping on this one. Notice the blatant lies - "Armed Hunters no match for SKS". How 'bout decent, law-abiding, mostly UNARMED hunters shot in the BACK by a crazed killer?
The link is to the main page of the VPC. The VPC needs some serious 2nd Amendment freepers to set them straight!

BULL$HIT PING. (TAKE ALL THEIR GUNS NOW!)

"Armed hunters were no match for one person firing an SKS assault rifle," said Kristen Rand, VPC legislative director. "This sad incident illustrates why the SKS is also a leading cop-killing rifle in America today."

Osama and his thugs can buy assault rifles with my tax money to kill me and my fellow citizens, but I cannot purchase one for my own protection. Sounds like John Kerry and Teddy and Joe are at it again.

Ive never seen a gun that killed someone by itself. The gun did what it was supposed to do( it Fired )! Its the lunatic holding it that needs to be exterminated. Guns dont kill people, people kill people! Simple as that!

Just try a 270 Weatherby Magnum if you want to see some power! Got one, and its awesome, and so is the 257 Weatherby Mag, and yes, got one of them also, but the cartridges are expensive!

Imagine a small staffed office, stagnant with out a story...then out the news, "Hunters dead, shot."
Then the office cheers in excitedment, reading the firearm was an SKS. Later responding, " We don't know what VPC would do without GUN DEATH, glad we have it."

USA allowed this wild immigrant into our country, and we all have to pay the price.

Unreal. The Leftists scream bloody murder about "political exploitation" when Republicans mention 9/11, but they think nothing of exploiting this sad event. What hypocrites.

Actually he's been in the country since he was a child and earned some kind of sharp-shooter merit thing while he served in the National Guard. Not that it excuses his actions, but playing an immigrant card is just as bad as what the VPC is doing playing this as a gun issue.
The truth, and the only part that matters really, is that this individual was crazy, and a cold-blooded killer for shooting unarmed people in the back.
It was a horrible, horrible tragedy, and the man needs to be put away for the rest of his life. It's not about the kind of gun he used or his nationality, or how long he's been in the U.S.

sorry... should've added that!

but they think nothing of exploiting this sad event. What hypocrites They are very good indeed at dancing in the blood of innocent victims of deranged and violent criminals.

Those same hunters, armed with bolt guns, one must presume, would be no match for an AR-15 or Mini-14, either. They're just as deadly, if not more so, than a lousy SKS.
Man, I hate this crap. The anti-gunners are gonna gin up their rhetoric for the next several months over those evil, dastardly pretender-to-be assault weapons. You just wait -- real soon now, some gun-grabbing glory mongering politician's gonna call a news conference to show what effect an SKS has on a watermelon and the MSM will go gaga.
Time for us to hang tough on this one.

The official police report is contradictory about what kind of gun it was...its says a "Saiga SKS"....of which there is no such thing.
Saiga, a Russian company, makes a hunting version of the (semi-auto) AK47. Looks just like a typical hunting rifle, except takes a special clip.
SKS rifles--a WWII design--were Commie military issue guns and haven't been made in many years.
The gun is EITHER an SKS or a Saiga.... yet before its confirmed what it is, the gun grabbers are already blabbers.
Figures.

All except one of the hunters that were shot were unarmed when they were murdered.
I would put money on the fact that every one of the hunters were hunting with a firearm that was more powerful than the 7.62X39 cartridge that the SKS shoots.
Come on liberals, put your money where your mouth is!!!!!
