A few years ago, they were doing a "Day Without Art" thing where they were covering up art works to make a point about all the gay artists who died of AIDS. My stock comment was "Thank God they weren't plumbers."

I have taken a liking to country music since dubya was re-elected hehehe.

My hubby and his friends are listening to a mixture of old school country (Gary Stewart, George Jones), Tex-Mex/Conjunto (Billy Bacon and the Forbidden Pigs/ the Mavericks) and "funny" country (Hayseed Dixie, the Gourds). These guys have vast collections of Depeche Mode, the Cure and Pearl Jam. There must be something in the water!
