Fallujah’s Mosque of “Peace”

U.S. and Iraqi forces patrolling Fallujah have discovered a weapons cache large enough to supply a nationwide insurgency. The weapons were found in central Fallujahs Saad Abi Bin Waqas mosque, where Sunni cleric Abdullah al-Janabi preached hatred.
How many times have Coalition forces been shot at from mosques or found weapons stockpiles hidden in them? Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mehdi Army used Shiite Islams most holy shrine, the Imam Ali mosque, to wage their campaign of murder and mayhem in Najaf.
Just how are all we infidels supposed to believe that Islam is truly a religion of peace? Just when will moderate Muslims, who certainly do exist, take back their own religion from the hands of extremists?

The U.S. needs to formulate and publicize a policy. Widely announcing that ANY mosque that harbors terrorists or their arms will be destroyed will go a long way toward diffusing these predictable, and false, charges.

Do you really believe there is such a thing as a moderate Muslim?

"Soldiers also found a house which contained a laboratory and instructions on how to make anthrax and blood agents, an Iraqi official said."
What exactly do they mean by blood agents? Are they talking about some sort of biological agent?

Do you really believe there is such a thing as a moderate Muslim?Aren't they the ones who stand silently by while the radical muslims behead the infidels?

I agree. We should develop a "Mosque MOAB." Our guys call in the coordinates, the AF makes the strike. Sounds sorta simple to me. But hey, there is still too much PC in this/these engagements with terrorists.
I still believe that Powell has been tempering W from letting Rummy and Paul get series in air and ground soldier combat operations.

Widely announcing that ANY mosque that harbors terrorists or their arms will be destroyed will go a long way toward diffusing these predictable, and false, charges. This is just dead obvious. Speaking of dead, how many more of our guys have to be dead in street fighting before Bush grows stones big enough to loudly proclaim such a policy?
I'd level the whole damn town from the air, then say "Ok, Moos - who's next?" But that's just me.

But Powell will be out soon, and Condi agrees with W, Wolfowitz, and Rummy. Our troops will be much less reluctant to blow up mosques if necessary.

every single one of these mosques that were used as fighting
positions and weapons stockpile locations by the terrorists:
this is where we should haul all the captured weapons stockpiles and blow them in place.
Turn these mosque sites into smoking holes .
THIS would be the right message to send.....
so tired of all the wimps and wusses calling the shots
of PC considerations. Fight to win !

Thanks for the link.
I do not believe there are moderate Muslims. As long as they follow the teachings of the Koran, then nonbelievers are infidels and we know what they do to them.

But look at post war Germany and Japan. They were able to turn things around. I'm not getting my hopes up too high about Islam, but moderation may still be possible, especially at the end of a gun point. In other words. we tell Muslims, "moderate or die (a la Daisy cutters).

It's not a problem once you realize that your option is submission and death.

Two years ago I believed Islam was for the most part, a peace loving religion.
I no longer believe that to be true.
They are peace loving as long as you agree with them.
Look what happened to Theo Van Gogh in the Netherlands.
There are many on FR who know a lot more than I do about this subject so I'll stop here.
I do appreciate your optimism but I really think to fight the enemy you have to first recognize the enemy and then DESTROY it.
