As I begin to write my Thanksgiving piece, it occurred to me how much I hadnt taken time to be thankful for so many things. So I sat down and wrote a list of everything I could think of. It became apparent that I wasnt about to use all of this in a Thanksgiving piece. I quickly scratched things out until I got to the things I cared about the most. I pay homage to almighty God for these things that Im truly thankful for:
1.My lovely, courageous, dedicated wife, Karol: With her support and inspiration, I can achieve anything I want. She is a miraculous, loving woman whom Ill cherish for the remainder of my life. Without her, I would be lost and lonely.
2.My family: For their loving support and admiration over the years. For giving me my identity, and raising me in Texas, the greatest state in the Union, bar none. My thoughts and prayers go with them this Thanksgiving.
3.Being a conservative: If not for Rush Limbaugh, I would probably still be wallowing in the liberal mire, complaining about how Bush is still illegitimate, and how Halliburton is wrecking America. I am forever grateful for transitioning to open arms on the right.
4.Rush Limbaugh: He has galvanized the conservative movement, founded the new media, and is wrecking the grasp of socialism in America. He has succeeded in transforming talk radio throughout the country with his dedication and love of conservatism. Rush Limbaugh is indeed The Passion.
5.Sean Hannity: For his dedication to conservatism, his tireless campaigning for President Bush, and his devotion to his wife, his children, and God. For never forgetting where he comes from. Long Island, NY. May he have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
6.Ann Coulter: For her wit, class, intelligence, and merciless articles in helping to defeat liberalism. She is a strong conservative woman and outstanding example for the female gender.
7.Chron Watch, Mens News Daily, MichNews, National Review, and other conservative outlets for advancing the conservative agenda in America and aiding the new media. Without their help, we would still be stuck with liberal print journalism. For giving me an opportunity to expose my writing to a wide audience, otherwise inaccessible to conservative writers.
8.Free Republic: Without this forum, I may have never got off the ground. It is a special forum with special people that I consider an extended family. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and for them I am truly thankful. Free Republic has some of the finest minds Ill ever know. Thank you, Jim Robinson. Youre an amazing man.

They are amazing people that couldve fired me at anytime but didnt. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for being inspirational Americans. For being great Americans, supporting our troops, and being some of the kindest people Ive ever known.
10.President George W. Bush: Since his reelection, air travel has reached some of the highest levels ever since before September 11th. I thank him for protecting, preserving, and defending the U.S. Constitution and the American people. May he have a wonderful Thanksgiving with his family.
11.The men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces: The U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard have performed an admirable, honorable, and courageous effort in making this country safer. I salute their efforts and wish each and every one of them a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe return home.
Ive pasted pictures below in support of those fine Americans. Thank you for your service to your country. I am truly thankful for you. My prayers go out to you on Thanksgiving.
As you view these pictures, what are you truly thankful for?

Good stuff, Peach. Thank you for being a wonderful American.
This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my daughter's firstborn son, (my twelfth grandchild), that he is a happy, healty and beautiful child like all the rest of my children and grandchildren.
I am thankful that I am able to be with her here in Israel to help her take care of the baby, who can't fall asleep except when he is in Granma's arms.
I am thankful for my son-in-law for taking such good care of my daughter.
I am thankful to G-D for giving my all my wonderful children and grandchildren, but most proud of my sons in Russia, spreading Judaism throughout the former Soviet Union with tremendous success, and of my son Yossi, protecting the people of Israel with his service in the IDF.
Even though I have not had a full time job for the last eighteen months, I am thankful for my family's support and encouragement to start my own historical research foundation, and that I still get invited on interviews.
And of course I am thankful for all the friends that I have met on Free Republic.
G-D bless you all.
