Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Aside from being grateful for my family and friends, I am grateful that this November is the gift that keeps on giving:

President Bush re-elected
Daschle defeated
Arafat dead
Scott Peterson guilty
Kofi Annan vote of no confidence
Dan Rather retiring

Thanks for all your work and writing this years. Kudos!

Thanks for your post.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my daughter's firstborn son, (my twelfth grandchild), that he is a happy, healty and beautiful child like all the rest of my children and grandchildren.

I am thankful that I am able to be with her here in Israel to help her take care of the baby, who can't fall asleep except when he is in Granma's arms.

I am thankful for my son-in-law for taking such good care of my daughter.

I am thankful to G-D for giving my all my wonderful children and grandchildren, but most proud of my sons in Russia, spreading Judaism throughout the former Soviet Union with tremendous success, and of my son Yossi, protecting the people of Israel with his service in the IDF.

Even though I have not had a full time job for the last eighteen months, I am thankful for my family's support and encouragement to start my own historical research foundation, and that I still get invited on interviews.

And of course I am thankful for all the friends that I have met on Free Republic.

G-D bless you all.

Great Thank You card. Thanks writer33.

The first Thanksgiving was a celebration of the triumph of capitalism over socialism. It is a lesson that conservative Americans need to remember and that Democrats need to learn. Socialism and capitalism are not compatible. Here are a couple of links to articles about the first Thanksgiving that should be shared with your families over this great Holiday:

Enjoy and give thanks where due.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. This year has been amazing with the significant changes that occurred. According to Pastor John Hagee out of Cornerstone Church in Texas--we are truly blessed and beloved of God.

Happy Turkey Day, Writer!

Nice and warm here in sunny Florida. Took a sun bath on the patio today, heehee. The couple next door is having a few neighbors over for Thanksgiving dinner so I don't have to cook. So I can take another sun bath tomorrow afternoon, heehee.

(the reason I say heehee is because I grew up in the Chicago suburbs and it's really cold up there now. It's always cold up there on Thanksgiving. That's why we say heehee here in Florida instead of gobble, gobble).

Happy Thanksgiving to you and all FReepers.

This year I am thankful that my family is safe and healthy and most of them living nearby. I am especially thankful for my precious twin grandsons who I adore. I am thankful that I have been married to the same wonderful man for 35 years.

I am thankful that President Bush got reelected and that we have a Republican majority. Last, but far from least, I am truly thankful for FreeRepublic and all the comfort and pleasure I get from my fellow FReepers.

Thank you, Chris, for the ping and for an amazing post. Once again, you've expressed the feelings of so many of us.

And yes, may God be with our brave troops this Thanksgiving.
