"..it should be Howard Stern..." Stroke of genius! I can see him now, interviewing Helen Thomas. 'Show me your . . . ' (Never mind.)

Maybe Susan Ostrich should get it. Can a station get less than "0" in the ratings??

Who Will Replace Dan Rather? Does the phrase "We are roasting their stomaches in Hell" ring a bell?

"Who Will Replace Dan Rather" The duck from AFLACK could do a better job and would be more likable.

Ann Coulter for CBS anchor, of course. This would show the world that CBS is serious about ridding itself of liberal bias.

In response to the generic question: Who cares !!
The bloggers on board during the run-up to the last election demonstrated where the real action is.
Lucuanne and Free Republic --as well as RCP do it for me. These sites are marked on the desk-top, and collectively serve to "answer the mail" quite handily, thank you.
As an aside, it looks as though the Drudge site is corrupted with cookies to the point it is dangerous to play in that pond.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I nominate Phineas T. Bluster, from the old Howdy Doody show.
1. He was a puppet, which is necessary to be an MSM anchor.
2. He loved to manipulate others, as his strings were pulled by unseen persons.
3. Of course, his "wooden" personality was natural, he didn't have to work to perfect it like Blather.
What do you think?

Ah, Howdy Doody. Now THAT was great TV. If you're looking for a puppet I'd suggest him. At least we'll know when he's lying (aside from when his lips are moving.

Did you hear Juan "If I only had a brain" Williams last night?

Did you hear Juan "If I only had a brain" Williams last night? "...and I don't know where the idea that Dan is a liberal came from..."I did - it's what made me think that Juan would be a good replacement. He's probaly cheaper than the names we've heard, and, he wouldnt make much of a difference!!
Happy Thanksgiving....
