Of the Red State hype spin sending Liberals for trauma therapy, writer, activist, pediatrician Dr. Helen Caldicott takes the proverbial blue cake.

The re-election of George W. Bush she says, may end the human race.

When it comes to Bush panic, Caldicott, shriller than songstress Barbra Streisand, more prolific than Susan Sarandon, is a Michael Moore in a skirt.

"I don’t think I’ve ever felt so personally, politically devastated in my life and that includes when (former President Ronald) Reagan won a second term of office--which was pretty devastating for me as I was so heavily involved in the anti-nuclear movement in those days," Caldicott told the Sydney Morning Herald.

A Nobel Peace Prize nominee, the Australian-born Caldicott calls Australia "the 51st state of the U.S".

Caldicott rose to prominence as the mother of anti-nuclear activism in the late 1970s, originally talking about the dangers of nuclear war as a physician.

She said most Americans responded, 'it’s better to be dead, than red’. . . . .

According to Helen C. the re-election of Reagan would lead to a nuclear holocaust.

This goofy woman makes regular appearances on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal." She is so far "out there" in her views of inevitable nuclear devastation that she's funny.

She actually tears up when answering certain questions. I'm convinced she's got an emotional illness.

It just goes to show you, some people do not become wiser as they grow older. In fact this woman has become more inane.

Author of Missile Envy, a book that blamed the arms race on Western civilization’s repressed sexual urges, Caldicott credits Fidel Castro for governing the best country on earth and is an ardent admirer of former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev.

Total fruitcake. Total.

Who do you think was right. Caldicott or Reagan? I think Reagan because the Russians aren't near the threat they use to be with their nukes and our arsenal has been reduced. The only problem was the Russians had some restraint. The nations such as Iran and North Korea, I don't think have the same restraint. I believe if they get them, they'll use them because MAD doesn't scare them.

Courtney Love probably has a higher emotional quotient than this woman.

Once she actually had a private meting with Reagan, in which he devastated everything she believed with facts, figures, and intelligence analysis. She proceeded to go right to the media and hysterically cry that Reagan was a dunce who didn't even understand what she was saying.

She's a loon and always has been.

Moore and Caldicott are very different. Caldicott believes her own propaganda, Moore repeats propaganda that gets a response from his audience even, as is often the case, he knows it is false.

Patti Davis twisted her dad's arm to get Caldicott a private interview with RR in the Oval Office. He politely listened, and then did what he knew was best for the American people.

No wonder she hated Reagan - after all, where was her beloved "anti-nuclear movement" with the threat of nuclear war removed?

They sorta went the way of the NAALCP, didn't they?

What is conveniently omitted from this piece is that
documents from the archives of the former East Germany
(and Soviet Union) clearly show that the nuclear disarmament movement of the '70s and '80s was a wholly-
owned subsidiary of the USSR!

That,in my mind,makes the Not-So-Good Doctor a Stalinist.
