MINNEAPOLIS - A Hennepin County prosecutor was among five people arrested on suspicion of drug possession, authorities said on Saturday.

The arrested prosecutor, who handles mostly child abuse and sex abuse cases, and his wife, an attorney in the Minneapolis City Attorney's office, were arrested at a house in south Minneapolis on Friday night, according to Chief Deputy Scott County Attorney Pete Cahill.

Cahill said four people were arrested at the home, and one in a traffic stop after leaving.

The arrested prosecutor, who handles mostly child abuse and sex abuse cases,

While prosecuting these types of cases must be depressing as hell, imagine defending them.

Not to worry the prosecutor will find that there is not enough evidence to prosecute the prosecutor.

Ahhh, Minnesota. Let's see, we've got the crackhead prosecutors, the deer hunter who kills five people and the Mpls mayor who's going to take a stage dive at First Avenue (nightclub). Wheee....

Not to mention the Wellstone memorial party, Jesse Ventura, Walter Mondale, Garrison Keillor, Al Franken........

Wisconsin deer hunter killer.

The guy who killed five hunters and wounded three is from St. Paul.

No, its absurd.

If you're referring to Minnesota being referred to as liberal, "absurd", I will have to disagree. The Twin Cities is one of the most liberal spots in the nation. Check the voting map. Mpls/St. Paul is the reason Minnesota didn't carry Pres. Bush.

No I am referring to the implication that the prosecutor was a participant in sex crimes which you applauded.

What did you think the crack at #1 that he was "involved" in his work meant?

I don't know. Why don't you ask the person who posted it.

You came on this thread and said "Wisconsin deer hunter" and "absurd". Two cryptic comments. When I respond to the cryptic comments you accuse me of "applauding sex crimes".

You're way out of line.

I don't have to ask since the meaning was clear to me perhaps you had best understand what you are applauding before doing so.
