Just announced: The USSS demanded that Metal detectors be used for ALL entering dinner tonight, and the Chile President *Didn't want to subject his guests to that* so they scaled back the meeting to those already "swept"
I'm sure others wiil add details
Kewl!
The shakeup at CIA could figure into some dangerous times - or even more dangerous times
and if something happened in a foreign country, suspicion would be pointed in the wrong direction -
Watch his back. guys.
Rocky Mountain Mama Nick Trotta's bio is on this thread at post #244.
Maybe it's those metal detectors that shows everyone starkers! Those pics could sell for a fortune all over the world!
stuffed chilies?
Let them have dinner-W can eat somewhere else...
In Argentina, they have gauchos, in Chile they have huasos. This is the "traditional" dress of the huaso, the Chilean cowboy. Those ponchos, or mantas that Bush and Putin are wearing probably cost a couple thousand dollars a piece.
Thank you. I do not want America Preisdent not protect that is not good America President is strong good person!!! I do not want America President not protect!!!
Hmmm - which would be more "inconveniencing" to a dinner guest:
1. pass thru' a metal detector
2. have your dinner invitation canceled
Something is not right
Thank you :}}}}}
Prayer said. Hope he gets back safe and soon.
The islamokazis would not succeed in assasination attempts of our president here in the USA.
I STRONGLY believe that they WOULD try to whack our people, while we were visiting a marginally 'safe' country, like Chile. The islamos have billions of dolllars to 'purchase' the cooperation of foreign heads of state AND their security apparatus.
W, needs to get his ass home.
Invite them to OUR house...
This visit may have been thought necessary... but I think it is a mistake to trust any but the staunchest of allies... a pretty small list.
It wouldn't surprise me if the USSS has determined there may be an attempt on our Head of State... by the bad guys. I don't think W is safe... and I want him home.
Amen.
Hi! ;o)
Thanks for the education wimpycat. Who paid for them?
I'm sure the Chileans paid for them. But that's how much they would cost if you or I were to buy one. Some of the best ones can run up to $50K. I originally thought they were embroidered, but the pattern is woven in. They're usually woven out of merino, or alpaca or vicuña wool. I have one that my husband bought me, but it's made of polyester. I've got the hat, too.
it would appear there were no other SS INSIDE - that only this one got i n
another was slammed up against a wall outside - and ended up staying by the limousine - according to one of the articles I read
GWB and Howard are really chatting it up. :)
What is your press saying about this get together?
