Lucky nobody grabbed the pistol from the chubby cop.

Doesn't appear to be very secure, does it?

My question: Where's the football?

just heard the President of Chile didn't want his guests to go through a magnatrometer (metal Detector) for tonight's dinner But the SS held firm and they canceled the extra invitations.

This is the leader of the free world folks, and we protect him

"I hope the agent is a member of FR, so we could read the whole story."

That won't happen. My cousin is ex-SS, and says nothing. Ever. Well, once he did ruefully say, "Everything you've heard about the Clintons is true." Then the cone of silence fell again...

President Bush is extremely loyal to people close to him and am not surprised to see him coming to his rescue. This is also evident in his determination to save America; working to bring her back to her roots. ;o)

If I was head of W's detail, He would wear a vest anytime He is to be exposed to the general public

Maybe..........maybe not. You wouldn't get to make that call. The President does, all you would get to do is advise.

I bet the SS loves working with this family.

I'm sure the Clintons would have urged they lock up the USSS agent.

Yep, don't mess with Texas! Had John Effin' Kerry done that, which he wouldn't have, he would have expected a Purple Heart.

I love this President. Look how astute he is, picking up on the situation when others have not. And taking direct action. I love it. I swear if he needed to jump in a fighter jet to defend the country against some giant space ships hovering over a U.S. city he would do it (think I may have seen this in a movie somewhere but he fits the roll).

YAHOOOOOOO! Thanks so much....Hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do!!!

And look who's standing behind Clinton...buttboy Bruce Lindsey. If you watch the CNN video, the reporter is portraying Clinton as such a hero, only concerned about people getting hurt. Bullhockeydoodoo!! This event was planned from the gitgo as a love fest photo-op, without regard for the safety of anyone.

My guess is that they thought the president was endangering himself.

That's what I said last night. My first thought was "Way to go W!" and then I thought about how he put himself in the middle of an armed, chaotic situation.

I wonder how may SS agents were held. The photo captions are not very helpful.

This is why Dubya is a leader. One attribute of leadership is standing up for your men.

I know how others of the liberal, postmodern mindset would have handled it: blame the SS agent for letting the situation happen, whether he could have prevented it or had any culpablitiy in it or not. That is how must organizations of any type work today.
