That President Bush had to intervene on behalf of the Secret Service agent might say to someone higher up within the ranks of the Secret Service that the agent gave the appearance of not doing his job.<<<<<<<<<<,
This was the senior agent. He did nothing wrong. Bush didn't want it to get worse and He knew no one would shove him if he stepped into it.
THAT is a leader men will follow.
I would not want to be the guy who shoved the POTUS with his SS contingent in the vicinity.

Precisely the point. President Bush has proven time and again he's a take-charge man, willing to do the job himself. That is exactly the sort of man that people will follow...to hell and back if necessary.

It's very telling that incidents like this cannot be scripted. There is no doubt we are living in the time of a great man.
