Origins of 'Hate America First'

Watching the latest liberal media feeding frenzy over a Marine shooting an allegedly wounded and unarmed terrorist who was no threat brought back memories of the 1960s. I was a personal witness to the origins of the modern "hate and blame America first" movement I spent the entire decade of the 1960s and most of the 1970s constantly engaged with students who regurgitated the communist philosophy their professors were teaching them in the leading universities of our country. Not all professors, of course, were doing this, but many of the most prominent and vocal were.

The "in thing" – or as we would say today, the politically correct thing – was to hate America and blame it for most of the ills of our world. "Scholars" vigorously rewrote American history so that all honor, religion and pride was expunged from it. The Vietnam War gave them a great proving ground to sharpen their techniques of "blaming America." As a result, American soldiers returned from grueling tours of duty only to be spit upon by these activist students.

Some of the brightest and best students were turned into dedicated activists who planned careers in strategic places of influence to spread this communist-inspired perception of America. Many went into journalism and the media. Some became university professors and teachers. Others went into politics – mostly becoming influential career bureaucrats in strategic branches of our government.

Now we are witnessing the results of these dedicated professors, who used their college classes as a pulpit to convert their students to a communist view of America. The fact that CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, et. al, are all slanted toward radical liberal thinking didn't accidentally happen. It is the compounded results of the quantum shift toward the left in the thinking of the 1960s. I say compounded because these original disciples of the 1960s produced more converts that are more radical than they were.

There are war correspondents in Iraq who look for any incident that they can turn against our American soldiers and use to discredit the Bush administration's policies in Iraq.

Very little coverage is given of the atrocities that daily are brought against our soldiers. Not much is made of the beheadings and murders of defenseless Allied personnel – unless, of course, there is a way to turn it into somehow being America's fault.

In this latest incident, the action of one Marine who was in the midst of a violent house-to-house firefight has been blown into an international event. Never mind that the terrorist who was killed was using the refuge of a Mosque to fire upon the Marine and his comrades. Never mind that many of the wounded terrorist set off grenades to kill those who came to give them aid. Never mind that many terrorists played dead only to shoot soldiers in the back. But none of the atmosphere of this dirty war with the brutal barbarism of the Muslim terrorists is felt in the rarefied atmosphere of the media newsrooms.

These liberal news people are doing more to inflame the hatred of the Muslim world against America than any other factor.

One thing is certain: Had these people reported the invasion of Europe during World War II in this way, we would all be speaking German now.

I do hope that Americans will respond with outrage to this slander of one of our brave Marines. These brave young men face dangers daily that would send most Americans into a nervous breakdown. Let's not reward their sacrifice and bravery with an indictment for being a "war criminal."

U.S. Media Do the Terrorists' Bidding

Are the media on our side? If so, why are they doing the bidding of a bunch of murderous thugs who enjoy lopping off innocent peoples’ heads?

We are once again getting the answer loud and clear: To the media, U.S. troops in Iraq are always wrong, and the enemies is usually shown, not as a terrorists, but a victims of unwarranted U.S. aggression.

Consider the firestorm that erupted when a young U.S. Marine, wounded the day before, was videotaped in the act of shooting a so-called insurgent who may or may not have been armed or booby trapped, waiting for a chance to blow Marines and himself to kingdom come.

That videotape, filmed by an embedded NBC photographer whose photos are prominently featured on an anti-war German website, has now replaced the Abu Ghraib pictures as proof of American brutality even though the film doesn’t begin to explain the circumstances behind the incident.

But that hasn’t prevented the media from showing the film over and over again without telling the other side of the story – that the situation could well have been one of kill-or-be-killed – as happened time and again to Marines during the battle for Fallujah.

NBC, the photographer’s employer, led the pack, broadcasting the controversial footage four times an hour for two days. And the rest of the media jumped aboard. Not one of them has bothered to explain what lay behind the incident.

• As of this writing, 40 United States Marines have died while cleaning out the terrorist havens in Fallujah.

• In a single week, Marines and Army units killed as many as 1,200 of the enemy and captured 1,000 more and did this despite forfeiting the element of surprise, so civilians could escape, according to The Star newspaper.

• Along with the Marine who shot the insurgent, his comrades over more than eight days have had to endure what the Star described as "some of the toughest infantry duty imaginable, house-to-house urban fighting against an enemy that neither wears a uniform nor obeys any normal rules of war." The newspaper cited this report from The Times of London describing how the insurgents fight: "In the south of Fallujah yesterday, U.S. Marines found the armless, legless body of a blonde woman, her throat slashed and her entrails cut out. Benjamin Finnell, a hospital apprentice with the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, said that she had been dead for a while, but at that location for only a day or two. The woman was wearing a blue dress; her face had been disfigured. It was unclear if the remains were the body of the Irish-born aid worker Margaret Hassan, 59, or of Teresa Borcz, 54, a Pole abducted two weeks ago. Both were married to Iraqis and held Iraqi citizenship; both were kidnapped in Baghdad last month."

While zeroing in on this incident, the media has largely ignored the grisly discoveries of so-called "slaughter houses" where the insurgents committed atrocities unheard of since the barbarian invasions of the West in 400 & 500 A.D.

• On Monday, 12 male corpses were found in two homes - six in a living room and another half-dozen in a bedroom - their bodies tangled together, stacked on each other.

• One of the execution rooms unearthed by the Marines - dubbed "the slaughterhouse" - was believed to have been used by Zarqawi's terror group to behead foreign hostages, including American businessman Nicholas Berg, whose body was found in early May, Marine Lt. Col. Patrick Malay told the Star.

Yet few networks or newspapers bothered to show photos of the Fallujah slaughter pens which graphically revealed the true nature of the enemy – they were all too busy showcasing the photo of the Marine engaged in what any fair-minded person would see as a fully justifiable action.

Whose side is the media on? Not ours.

Leftist extremists preceded Marx, in this country, funded by provocateurs from The Directorate of the French Revolution, which, BTW, also preceded Marx.

Liberals of a variety of flavors, populated Massachusetts long ago, preceding the Civil War.

The "enlightened" ones have been around for a long time, denigrating what is "unfair," that is, cheaply projecting their personal jealousy, envy, and greed upon the social stage, in order to get the attention their minds require.

There were communes all across the country, variously believing and a few not believing, in God.

A general communist retreat from the horrors of World War I, here in the states, was preceded by the "birth of decadence" at Columbia in New York City.

During World War II, New York was again an embarrassment, for its anti-war movement, that remains largely unreported by the "like-minded" "liberal media;" which, Tom Brokaw did not explore well.

Vietnam was nothing special, just a repeat of Korea, yet with more "liberal media" coverage because of the TV.

Unfortunately, our country has a history of people who hate America because America is not perfect in an imperfect world, a hostile world, a dangerous world, a world where we are each individually responsible and much self-determination and self-discipline is required to face up to it.

Leftists, "just can't deal with it," unless they're angry at everything that causes them to take their own risks with their own resources in addition to performing some civic duty to their community and their neighbors, without compensation "of all things!"

When I needed to spend three years in the dentist chair, to get some work completed the way it would last, I did not blame America.

When my computers buck, I do not blame America.

When my health went on the blink yet again, I did not blame America.

I live day to day, on the edge, nearly broke, but I keep going.

Because there is a chance, I think, that I will succeed.

I credit America, for that, and my mom and pop and some friends.

The Communist Party used to be illegal in America. After the McCarthy hearings and the attempted purge of Communists in American government, The commies managed to gain acceptance thanks to a willing news media.

In fact, one of the main objectives of communist propaganda is to take over the news media and control editorial and thought. the next is to use the media to discredit established institutions and tradition. The third is to rewrite history so to place blame on our forefathers for the evils America now stands for.

This is the work of Socialist plants within the MSM.
Hating America is siding with the Islamic movement that blames America for whatever it can. Islamic law is very much a communist philosophy because it terrorizes the population into acceptance and teaches hatred to children.
That is why Islam is embraced by socialists because they both hate capitalism and freedom.
