Hola amigos. It is good to have our Catholic friends turn their back on the liberal plantation and vote with us.

Say what you want about Mexicans, but they are a hard working people, which means they'll be more likely to fall into the Republican camp.

In large US cities you'll see whites and blacks begging on the freeway onramps, but in front of Home Depot you'll see Mexicans begging for an opportunity to put in a hard day's work.

I find myself torn in my feelings towards the Mexican community in the US. They're as corrupt a group as can be when it comes to backing illegal immigration, but at the same time they work like real men. With the worries we now have with muslim fu**heads trying to enter the country I'm hoping the Mexicans will jump off the immigration bandwagon and help us out a little. Won't be counting on it though!

Dems view people as a member of an interest group. Conservatives view people as individuals.

(R)nold said this well at the Republican convention.

This and state's rights are the major planks of conservatism. (I think small government falls under both of these)

Big problem too with the gay and radical vote. If the Dems move off their support for the gays on the marriage issue they stand to lose both the gay and the radical vote, perhaps to some third party. A five percent slip if they can't back fill it will leave them off the map in at least three states.

"The Bushies seem to get it "

Real Bush supporters do. We appreciate the fact that his margin of victory resulted from an increase in the percent of Hispanic vote that he got.

Real Republicans and real conservatives also appreciate the fact of life that we must carry a substantial percent of Hispanic voters or else we will lose everything.

However third party racists, malcontents and habitual losers have made Hispanics the scapegoat for their failures and are posing as Republicans and conservatives. Their attacks on Hispanics under the phony banners of "national security" and "enforcing the laws" threatens to set back the Republicans to the Goldwater era.

Chief among the offenders is the Buchanan/Tancredo crowd.
