Three former Kerry campaign aides, also demanding anonymity out of concerns about alienating their former boss, said they were surprised and disappointed to learn that he left so much money in the bank.
Kerry had roughly $45 million left in his primary campaign fund as of mid-October, according to his Federal Election Commission (news - web sites) report, and could use that as seed money for another presidential bid.
His final report is not due until next month, but officials close to Kerry said he has $15 million to $17 million in that account, with no outstanding debts, after giving the DNC about $23 million and state parties about $9 million since the mid-October report.
In addition, the report showed that Kerry had about $7 million on hand in a legal and accounting compliance fund that he could use for legal expenses in a 2008 campaign. Officials said he raised several million more for that account since the filing. ---------------------------------------------------
Another of many reasons he's called a loser......and a money grubbing hack.

Democratic Party leaders said Wednesday they want to know why Sen. John Kerry ended his presidential campaign with more than $15 million in the bankEffin justifies it ............ he will need it because Teraaaaaayza is going to cut him off soon, no more allowance and soon to be kicked out completely!
To: BigRedState
Kerry won't be needing the $$$$, he won't get the nomination in '08. It'll take all that money and more for Hillary to remake herself into a moderate so she'll be able to run!

"Hey Donna you stupid turnip, in case you weren't watching, the white boys beat you again."The "Party of the Little Guy" has made it politically correct to laugh at jakes like that again, after their treatment of Dr. Rice. And Dr. Rice is a smart, educated colored, unlike DarkDonna.

Nah, nothing to it, chicom $$$$$$$$$$$ don't count. Ask Hilly/Billy. McCain will run interference, start crying "CFR" again. It's all in the play book.

Had the RATS used that money to buy more crack maybe they could have won Ohio.

Can he give it to Hillary's campaign in exchange for a promise for some prestigious position if she wins?

When she made that comment when Algore was running for President, I was seething. "Don't let the white boys win." I still growl because the election of Gore would have denied us one of the great Bush appointees of our time, Condoleeza Rice. I think of that mind numbing stupid piece of crap named Albright, and I still thank God Almighty that President Bush won. Can you possibly imagine the parade of "human debris" (a Limbaugh term) we would have had to endure these past four years had Gore won? UGH! Brazille can just "shove it."

Well, it's not like he doesn't have a rich wife *shudder* to bankroll him--he should give it back. It won't help them anyhow! And we're the ones who they say use "unethical" tactics!!!???

I believe those funds are restricted and limited to a Kerry
presidential campaign.
My cat has more of a chance of giving the acceptance speech for the presidential nomination at the 2008 'rat convention than Kerry does.

Hey sKerry was hanging on to this dough because it was one of the first times he could remember that he didn't have to ask his woman permission for access to funds.

Could you imagine if you were a dem donor and you find out that your money wasn't used for what you specifically intended it to be used for? (course I can't really imagine being a Dem donor, so maybe they are cool with it)
Let's see the Dems go at each other a bit. Get this Spector - Conservative civil war outa the news. :)
