"...The MSA's Starters Guide contains an open call to Islamicize campus politics:
It should be the long-term goal of every MSA to Islamicize the politics of their respective university
the politicization of the MSA means to make the MSA more of a force on internal campus politics. The MSA needs to be a more "In-your-face" association..."
Un-freakin-believable. I would say the MSA already has quite a foothold at a large number of universities.
Fantastic news! The U.S. military is doing a great job, with little recognition. I hope that the majority of the insurgents days are numbered. Let the Iraqi people know freedom and democracy.
Most definitely. The ongoing thread regarding those promoting a regime change in Iran is proof of this. So many of the everyday citizens there do not ascribe to the hardline stance. If only a viable leader could arise from this movement, Iran would have a chance.

Tom Negovan reports Homeland Security agents bust an illegal flu vaccine operation.
Nov 23, 2004 1:54 pm US/Eastern SOMERS POINT, N.J. (KYW) Federal investigators probing the smuggling of hundreds of doses of flu vaccine into the country searched a home in this shore community Monday night, authorities said.....
Sources told Negovan that a member of the Safad Corporation obtained the vaccine abroad and attempted to ship it to the United States from Saudi Arabia. The package apparently left Jedda, Saudi Arabia on November 6th, traveled to Bahrain, and then to London, where it wandered the globe, crossing the ocean five times and finally ending at JFK Airport on November 17th.
The vaccine was intercepted when it arrived in the United States via a commercial shipping company, he said....
Terror cloud on consulate closure
http://www.thestatesman.net/page.news.php?clid=1&theme=&usrsess=1&id=60902
NEW DELHI, Nov. 23. An alert by US intelligence agencies today about the possible infiltration of an Al-Qaida militant in India forced the closure of the US consular section and the American Center in Mumbai.
Officials in Indian intelligence agencies said that the US Homeland Security Department and the CIA have warned that a Saudi Arabian has sneaked into India. The alert has warned that the Saudi Arabian is an Al-Qaida militant and could carry out attacks on US installations in Delhi and Mumbai, said an intelligence official. It was a warning, which didnt give details about the possible hideouts or physical description of the suspected Al-Qaida militant.
US mission staff forwarded a copy of the note to the external affairs ministry which informed the Intelligence Bureau. IB then issued warning notes to police in Delhi and Mumbai.
Intelligence reports have said Al-Qaida enjoys the support and has sympathisers among Kashmir-based militant groups like Lashkar-e-Taiyaba and Jaish-e-Mohammed who have bases in Delhi and Mumbai.
The US mission in New Delhi was open. A spokesperson of the Embassy here said: We are taking every measure to ensure the security of American citizens. The decision to open the consular section and the American Center in Mumbai will be taken after a review tomorrow.
Crop dusters remain under close scrutiny
http://www.registerguard.com/news/2004/11/23/d2.or.cropdusters.1123.html
PORTLAND - Federal authorities are asking crop duster pilots across Oregon to keep a sharp eye out for anything out of the ordinary.
Authorities think al-Qaeda may be interested in using small planes to launch a biological or chemical attack in the United States.
``We have an interest in what we believe the bad guys have an interest in, and we believe the bad guys still have an interest in aircraft,'' said Robert Jordan, the FBI's top agent in Oregon. ``And agricultural aircraft has the unique ability to aerate chemicals and spread them over an area, and that has some ominous consequences, depending on who is being sprayed.''
Oregon crop duster pilots say they are getting used to stepped -up scrutiny from federal law enforcement officials, who first began asking about the planes immediately after the 2001 terrorist attacks.
Wayne Seitz, who runs a crop dusting business in Heppner, said the FBI dropped in last month to see how things were going, and that for him, it is reassuring to know that the FBI is checking up on businesses.
He's also recently been visited by the Federal Aviation Administration. Seitz said the agency wanted to make sure his plane was secure when he wasn't using it.
Jordan said the FBI will probably be keeping a close eye on agricultural aircraft for some time.
``I don't anticipate us losing our interest in that type of industry in the foreseeable future,'' he said.
Interesting.
Today's articles are varied and interesting.
Thank you.
In the Spotlight: The Islamic Army of Aden (IAA)

The Islamic Army of Aden (IAA) also known as the Islamic Army of Aden-Abyan is a group of Muslim extremists that wish to establish an Islamist government in Yemen that adheres strictly to Sharia Law. It also seeks to remove all Western interests and influence from Yemen and the greater Middle East. Although the Yemeni government has sought to crush the group and has claimed that it is no longer capable of carrying out its operations, Western intelligence services believe it is still planning operations to advance its political and religious agenda.
The IAA is most famous for its role in the Oct. 12, 2000, bombing of the USS Cole in Aden Harbor. A dinghy packed with explosives ran into the side of the destroyer while it was refueling, killing 17 American sailors and injuring 39 others. Intelligence services suspect the attack was sponsored by and conducted in coordination with al-Qaida. Abd al-Rashim al-Nashiri, chief of Qaida operations in the Persian Gulf, is believed to have masterminded the attack. Ali Qaed Senyan al-Harthi, al-Qaidas chief operative in Yemen, is also thought to have been involved. Authorities believe Al-Harthi was killed in November 2002, when an American unmanned aerial vehicle fired a hellfire missile at a car in the middle of the Yemeni desert.
Bombers hit targets off Kaua'i
http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/article/2004/Nov/23/ln/ln31p.html
Far off the coast of Kaua'i, two B-52 bombers made history yesterday, striking and sinking several targets with 2,000-pound satellite-guided bombs.
More than 300 airmen, sailors and Marines are participating in "Resultant Fury," a three-day, $10 million demonstration of the ability to interdict potential adversaries like terrorists or ships used for piracy over vast sea spaces.
"We're matching up advanced weapons with bomber platforms in the Pacific," said Maj. Gen. David Deptula, director of Pacific Air Forces Air and Space Operations. "We'll demonstrate a new capability for the commander of Pacific Command to rapidly conduct maritime interdiction in all weather, day or night, anywhere in the Pacific theater."
Today, up to 10 of the Joint Direct Attack Munitions, or JDAMs, will sink the USS Schenectady, a 522-foot tank landing ship that was decommissioned in 1993 and mothballed at the Naval Inactive Ship Maintenance Facility at Pearl Harbor.
Adm. Thomas B. Fargo, commander of Pacific Command, whose headquarters are at Camp Smith, told the House Armed Services Committee in March that "transnational threats" are a continuing concern in the Pacific region.
Fargo cited organizations including al-Qaida, Jemaah Islamiyah, and more localized groups like the Abu Sayyaf Group in the southern Philippines.
"We also sense increasing synergy between transnational threats like terrorism, illicit drugs, trafficking in humans, piracy, and especially the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction," Fargo said. "We have a number of creative initiatives ongoing to address these transnational concerns."
The "Resultant Fury" demonstration represents the first time modified JDAMs have been used to attack moving ships. Satellite-guided bombs allows interdiction in all weather conditions.
B-52s flying from Guam and Louisiana were to link up for the demonstration at Pacific Missile Range Facility waters off Kaua'i. Reconnaissance aircraft were expected to feed target information to Hickam Air Force Base, which in turn would pass information to airborne bomber pilots.
Seven different aircraft are expected to participate, including B-2 Stealth bombers.
Sounds (no pun intended) like a carbon dioxide bomb.
Thanksgiving Blessings to you AD.

From the following website:

Did you know that MSA National was the precursor of ISNA, ICNA, MAYA, IMA, AMSS, AMSE, MYNA, Islamic Book Service, and the North American Islamic Trust? Funny how those acronyms have popped up often as being recruiting fronts and/or financial support for terrorism.
The MSA website claims 100,000 members and 150 chapters in the US and Canada. What was eye-opening to me is that there are high school chapters nationwide as well.
Links back to Saudi Arabia and France. Unreal!

For diversion and distraction?
How did it get from JFK to the guy's house?
Also, I wonder what might show up as an additive when the authorities test the stuff.
I still don't get this flu shot hysteria. So many people I know (including me) have never had the shot and have never had more than a week or so of flu like symptoms every few years or so. Yet, this year people seem to be hysterical about getting the shot. It is the furthest thing from my mind. Am I nuts? I told my oncologist my opinion on the subject and he didn't take a position on my opinion so I gathered that it was not an important issue for me even though theoretically I fall into the at risk category.
