I still don't get this flu shot hysteria. So many people I know (including me) have never had the shot and have never had more than a week or so of flu like symptoms every few years or so. Yet, this year people seem to be hysterical about getting the shot. It is the furthest thing from my mind. Am I nuts? I told my oncologist my opinion on the subject and he didn't take a position on my opinion so I gathered that it was not an important issue for me even though theoretically I fall into the at risk category.

MSM hyper-intensive reporting is creating the flu-shot mania. No flu shot here either. I wash my hands often, especially after being out in public places like the market (shopping carts...ICK).

I will be sending add'l info. regarding this case as they announce the "names" of those behind this flu shot scam. One news report mentioned that those responsible may have left the country! But still no names.

I agree with you, crabbie. I've never had the shot, and don't ever plan to. My theory is that, in the normally healthy human body, an occasional stress to the immune system is necessary to keep it functioning properly and at max effectiveness. If your body never has to fight infection, I believe it eventually loses the ability to do so. Same goes for the over-emphasis on antibacterial soaps, lotions, potions, etc.

Normal handwashing/cleaning, good nutrition, proper rest, avoiding being around sick people, etc., have worked fairly well for me.
