I'm wondering if a FReeper with some experience in the arena would like to set up a fund for the Marine who shot that wounded terrorist in the mosque. I get the feeling he is going to be railroaded and will need some help. Whether it be for lawyer's fees, support for his family, or simply just to show him that there are real Americans who support him, I'd like to contribute to such a fund. Suggestions?
LMAO
While Savage has some good things to say, he lives in a very dark place. I wouldn't count on events turning out as badly as Savage predicts.

I'm inclined to agree about the 'dark place' as he spent so many years in San Francisco - 'Gomorrah-by-the-Bay'.
Having had to deal with SF politics on and off over the years I can understand his point of view. I can also understand yours as most places in America are not near as twisted as San Francisco...yet.
But it is good to understand that the extremes of San Francisco culture have become the enforced (I did not say 'accepted') norms for the rest of the country usually 15-20 years after they surface in San Francisco.
Remember Anita Bryant? All the wild things she said in the 1970's have *all* come to pass. She was the nutbag extremist of her time and I say now that she was the only voice of reason in the nation at that time.
If more people had listened to her back then the country would still be a safe place for six-year old boys.
While you don't count on what Savage predicts as coming true, bear in mind that it is also your obligation to work to prevent his prognostications from coming true. Just saying, 'Oh, that'll never happen.' is like sitting in the First Class lounge and saying the Titanic is unsinkable and there's no need to avoid icebergs.
"All that it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
Thanks for your service, Dan. We love you guys!
Why on earth would he do that? George Bush? Why would he suddenly turn on this young man; he hasn't ever done this before, has he? I must have missed it if he did!
