Every time I actually see where the Libertarians really stand, I realize that I'll always be a Republican.

The Libertarians stand just where you stand. Individual freedom first and certainly honest elections. An election isn't honest just because your guy appears to have won. There is so much horrible junk in Ohio's result that I cannot understand why Kerry conceded so fast. There were whole counties that reported more votes than registrants. There was horrible vote suppression all over the state. This was a text book example of dirty tricks overwhelming the real vote. And only the Libertarians and Greens seem to give a fig. All you Bushbots don't care as long as your guy was the recipient of the fraud.

There were whole counties that reported more votes than registrants.

Please name them.

There was horrible vote suppression all over the state.

Could you provide some proof of that allegation? Even an example?

This was a text book example of dirty tricks overwhelming the real vote.

Again, can you cite any evidence? Or, are you just relying on your own hunches?

Why you “people” (pun intended) from this stupid libertarian party or constitutional party, do not get all together and make your own delusional website blog where you can spew your delusional theories, bitterness, and hate toward President Bush and the Republican party.

What are you doing here on FR? Get out of here.

Don't make outlandish claims and then head for the tall grass. Answer the questions! Give us the proof!

Wrong. We know the Dems cheated like crazy. But they also play heads I win, tails I lose. They cheat, and if it is enough and works, prevent anything being done about it. And if it isn't enough and doesn't work, they point to the irregularities they themselves deliberately caused, and file a lawsuit or ask for a do over or recount, which they then continue trying to steal. You fall for it. We don't. That is all. We will certainly look for and prosecute frauds. But putting the election back in play is their only goal, and you are furthering it. You don't fight cheating by insisting on giving cheaters a half dozen tries at it.

Bushbot.....Hmmmmmm. That's a first for me. Before voting I had to sit down and do some serious thinking. Who's treason was worse, John Kerry's for his actions during and after the Vietnam War. Or, George W. Bush's for signing the Anti- (not un, anti!) Constitutional Campaign Finance Reform Act in to law. Bush actually lost that issue for me, but won (barely) on others. I have given serious thought to the libertarian party. Not long after 9-11 there was a post headlined on FR about the libertarian party taking out their first national newspaper ad. I was on AOHell dial up at the time. In the four hours it took the ad to load I had time to wonder what the libertarians considered their #1 national priority. Certainly the threat of terrorism was at the front of most people's minds. Harry Browne had truly expressed the libertarian view of that. "We asked for it, we deserved it." I thought, maybe the national party wanted to make a statement that wasn't written by al-Jazeera. CFR itself was up for a vote. That's an issue that seems ready made for the libertarian party. There were several other issues that escape my recollection right now. (I had a lot of time to think about it.) Finally the ad popped up. "The War on Drugs Finances Terrorism!!" Uh-hum..... We cannot put the children in charge. My suggestion, you people have a good message. Seriously, I think you do. However, as a party, libertarians couldn't lead a pack of starving wolves to meat. Learn how to speak to the American people on the many subjects that concern them. Not just through the lens of your favorite issue.
My mind is open. Convince me that the libertarian party can be trusted in the government of this country. And, by the way, leave the "Bushbot" stuff for DU, it's much more useful at their level of discourse.

You are pretty dam* fast to make it sound like there is REPUBLICAN fraud.

May I remind you that the DemoKrauts are the Kings of vote fraud ??

Kerry gave up because he KNEW he lost big enough, that even the vote fraud they used couldn't help him.

I've not voted for a DemoKraut in forever (and NEVER will again), and have never voted for a Libertarian, and never will.

It is a worthless party and is clearly shown to be in the hands of the RATS. Who in their right mind would believe the GOP won by fraud when fraud is the standard MO of the RAT and has been for 200 yrs? This recount if honest will show that the RATS vote total was inflated by several hundred thousand in Ohio. It is laughable to find people actually defending this recount in the name of good government. The parties demanding the recount should pay the entire cost however.
