Hi all,

While we probably have nothing to fear from a recount in OHIO, and while Preseident Bush will likely gain votes in such a recount, and while Dem fraud will likely be uncovered, I believe there is something we can and should do.

There appears to be a recount possible, but Mr. Kenneth Blackwell has to ok it. There seems to be mounting pressure for Mr. Blackwell to recluse himself from the the process by democrats. They are professing (falsely), that it is a conflict of interest for him to do his job.

I have e-mailed Mr. Blackwell's office and asked him first, in case of a recount, to NOT recluse himself and to oversee any recounts that may or may not take place. We need to make sure that any recounts, however stupid the whole premise is, are fair and done correctly.

Secondly, I asked him that if he believes that this is an attempt to sway the will of the voters in OHIO via tricks and fraud, to not even grant a recount.

I have been harping about OHIO for a while now...and while I have been slowly coming around to believe that we really don't have much to worry about, I still believe that it pays to make our voices heard and not take anything for granted. We all know we can't trust the rats to do the right thing.

Please go to this website and e-mail Mr. Blackwells office.

That's recuse, not recluse.

Ohio Will Recount Votes After Parties Raise Fee, AP Reports
Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Ohio will recount ballots cast in the Nov. 2 presidential election next month after the Green and Libertarian parties raised more than the $113,600 required to fund the process, the Associated Press reported.

Libertarian Michael Badnarik and the Green Party's David Cobb said they want to be sure all votes were counted properly in President George W. Bush's 136,000-vote victory in the state earlier this month. The recount will be conducted in December, after the votes are certified.

``Our bottom line is to stand up for the integrity of the voting process because the voting process is the heart of the democratic process,'' Blair Bobier, a spokesman for Cobb, told AP.

Ohio's 20 Electoral College votes pushed Bush to victory over Democratic nominee John Kerry. Ohio law says petitioners for a recount must pay $10 per precinct, or a total of $113,600. Badnarik and Cobb said they raised $150,000 in four days, mostly in small donations.

Carlo LoParo, a spokeswoman for Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell, told AP the actual cost of the recount will be about $1.5 million.
