Will someone answer some questions?

Also I always keep antibiotics. Radiation damages the immune system.

1. What biological agent can be dispersed from a crop duster?

biological agents would not likely be dispersed from a crop duster.
They would most likely be introduced into a water supply or ventilation system where there are lots of people.

2. What is the span, or how much land can a crop duster "dust" in one flight (presume it would pretty much be shot down)?
Depends upon the height of the plane at dispersal. The higher the plane, the more ground covered with less impact (presuming chemical not biological)
Closer to the ground (like over a crowded football stadium) = less ground covered with more impact.

3. Does weather play a factor? I mean, does the biological agent only "work" above 50 degrees?
Weather plays a factor in dispersal and lifespan.
Lower temperatures would only tend to shorten the lifespan.

4. What precautions can/should be taken? Should we keep gas masks in the basement?
Prayer is your best protection against biological agents.
Most gas masks will not protect you against biological agents.
Avoid large population areas in times of high risk.

You tell your government to post website photos of Islamofascist cities, then pictures of Dresden, Berlin, Hiroshima and Nagasaki - and label them "Before" and "After".

I apologize if I confused anyone, my question is of a general nature, not specific to crop dusters. I read the post about the crop duster and it occurred to me that, heaven forbid, something would happen (anything), I had no idea what to do first.

I knew about Russia, but had no idea about the family in Israel. That information alone is important!

"HOW DOES ONE PREPARE THEMSELF AND FAMILY FOR A DIRTY BOMB? (vanity)"

If the bomb/cropduster is upwind: get in your car and drive like hell downwind or crosswind. If the cropduster/bomb is downwind, head upwind.

I'm no expert on cropdusters but I've seen them in action and you'd have to be pretty close to one to have a worry.

Good evening.

Move out of any large city, don't live downwind from a large city, and be prepared for disruptions in goods and services. Other than that you can only use your common sense and trust in your luck.
If your family needs any meds try to keep a weeks supply on hand. Read up on alternative medicine and see if any of that rings your bells.
I don't have a clue as to what the answers to 1. and 3. are but I'll bet a properly worded Google search would give you the answers. The search might bring a visit from Homeland Security. At least I would hope they were on top of it enough to at least check.
As to the area a crop duster could cover, if you are in it's target zone it isn't likely you would know about it before it was too late.
Use your wits, trust your luck. Don't worry, be happy.

I hope your right BUT I think after this election and after the lib media, old europe and dems threw everything they had to influence this election at the President, We stood up PROUD AND STRONG as Americans and told them OUR OPINION OF THEM!!!!

Anyway, I don't live in fear per se of an attack, I fear that should I need to do something, I won't know what to do.

Potasium Iodide only works fo cesium and other stuff from a nuke explosion, not a dirty bomb.

Nope. It does not work for cesium and most 'stuff' from a nuke explosion.

Dirty Bomb is just uranium or other stuff, I doubt we will see a plutonium bomb

Wrong again. The dirty bomb consists of radioactive fission fragments left over AFTER uranium fission.

You basically can't prepare for a biological attack except to flee the area.

It depends on the agent. Some agents die out quickly in the atmosphere. If you stay indoors with filtering, it can be effective.

That's the opposite of what I was told.

I do not remember what components of the by-product of a fusion explosion occur, but the Pot Iod is somewhat effective for the majority of the radioactive by products, and it is USELESS against simple uranium by pruducts and their effects on the body from a conventional explosion.

Danger from dirty bomb radiation is minimal. More a scare tactic than one to kill.

Very helpful information. I would of thought to go to the basement. It's good to know that the chemical would be heavier than air and sink. It's tips like these, easily remembered, that are the most helpful.
