I completely concur. I watched this scum-bag for a few seconds on "Hardball" tonight, before I bleeped the station.
As an aside, Chris Matthews is still visibly seething about the election; and it appears that his agenda will be blatantly keyed to do everything possible to bring discredit upon the second Bush term.
How I despise that spiteful punk!!

No wonder the folks at the CIA are squealing today with Porter Goss in charge. It's rather apparent that the CIA is full of liberal policy wonks, just like the State Dept.
Bush's most visible contribution may be to shape the Supreme Court for the next generation. His most invisible contribution will be to reform our intelligence agency into something effective and pro-American.

This article freaked me out. That policy makers within Washington have more than just an appeasement mind-set, but a willingness to set Israel adrift and to watch other allies literally die and to give the terrorists what they want, is more frightening than the terrorists themselves.

I read the review in the dead tree version of NRO. It's amazing that a CIA official would support tossing fellow democracies to the Islamic wolves in the hope that we can make nicey-nice with them.
Hopefully, Goss will be able to purge the CIA.

Wow! It is frightening to me that someone with this degree of fascination with Islamic fascism was in the government in any role whatsoever, let alone the CIA!!
Thanks for the ping, Diddle E.; I will bookmark this for reference.

The methods outlined here- appease and ignore terrorism- were practiced in the 90's and led to 9/11. It is unbelievable that this person is a so called "expert".
That's why there's no room for compromise or appeasing liberals unless we are suicidal. They are totally irrational and have zero regard for our nation. They HATE their own country namely: our country.

Would it be too Machiavellian to suppose that the CIA deliberately overstated the likelyhood of WMD's in Iraq assuming that it would prevent GWB from initiating an attack on Iraq. When GWB said lets go anyway the CIA was caught with their trousers down around their ankles.

You think this is bad? Have you ever talked to (or read stuff from) some of the people at the State Department?

This article has everything you need to shoot down the media's next Richard Clarke attempt While reading this article .. three things came to my mind
He's another Richard Clark for the left
He has a Neville Chamberlain mentality
And .. he has a BIG dislike for the Jews

This is very disturbing.
For someone who was supposed to be the foremost expert on OBL in the government to believe that appeasement would appease him.
Why does this seem so unbelievable? Between Richard Clarke and this guy, they almost made us lose WW III.
It is no wonder that Clinton let OBL escape his grasp so many times. It is no wonder that 9/11 happened. It will take many years for us to recover from this.
How many people have died in Somalia, Afghanistan, New York etc. because these guys got it so so wrong.
To: Unam Sanctam
So this was "Anonymous" - a Michael Moore clone inside the CIA who wishes to see Israel destroyed and us living all as good happy Muslims forever. Its all the more reason for new CIA boss Peter Goss to press ahead with the work of rooting out all the Michael Scheuer liberals and anti-American kooks and anti-Bushies from the agency. The kind of lunatic, suicidal advice given in books like "Imperial Hubris" is exactly what this country doesn't need and can't afford.

I saw Scheuer's appearance on 60 Minutes and was surprised that such a supposedly limportant figure at CIA really didn't come across as being all that sharp.
