ATHENS, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Scuffles broke out on Tuesday between Muslim Greeks and a television crew filming an episode of a popular series near a mosque in northeastern Greece, police said.

They said about 400 Muslim Greeks in the village of Echinos, angered by the presence of actresses not wearing head scarves near the entry of the mosque, gathered around the television crew demanding they leave.

There shouldn't be a mosque left standing in the whole world based on what we've discovered in this planet to this point. The proponderance of evidence suggests that we will have to grant the Muhammadans their wish of martyrdom...if only they knew what they were wishing for. I pray for their souls, and yet, we're in the BIG ONE for ALL THE MARBLES. One nuke in America and ... God help us.

Sometimes I feel so alone... except when I read YOUR posts.

How few there are who can see what's coming down the pike. And because of their lack of vision, so many innocents will suffer and die needlessly.

Keep up the good work, Apes...

Greece was invaded and existed as a subjugated enslaved millet of the Muslim Ottoman Turks for about 400 years.

Being Christian, most Greeks quietly and secretly held fast to their faith while suffering the worst atrocities imaginable by any oppressed people. Unfortunately they could not save their fellow Christians in Asia Minor who were mostly exterminated by the end of the 20th century.

"Exterminated"? First I've heard of that.

Certainly some Central Asian types who spoke various Uralic-Altaic, or Finno-Ughric languages, moved into Anatolia, but their nearest relatives had always been there.

The Sumerians, for example, who founded the first civilizations in the Fertile Crescent (which includes big chunks of Anatolia), spoke a language which is a cognate of the 9 modern Sa'ami languages (classified as Finno-Ughric) as well as the first written language in China, and one American Indian language spoken in California.

It would be difficult at this remove in time to really pin down the Finno-Ughric speakers who came with the Seljuks and differentiate them from pockets of people of Sumerian origin living all over the place.

I'd go so far as to suggest that the original Finno-Ughric speaking population in Anatolia is probably as well represented in today's Balkan population as any of the late coming Indo-Europeans, such as the Kurds, or, lo and behold, the Galicians and the Greeks, or even the Uralic-Altaic speakers othewise identified as Turks!

It has become convenient in the modern world to differentiate among the Greek, Serbo-Croat and Uralic-Altaic speaking peoples of the former Ottoman Empire as it existed in the Balkans and Western Anatolia, and to draw boundaries between them to reflect religious differences, but I don't think that has much real meaning when you get into the local variations of the human genome.

So, did the Greeks exterminate the Finno-Ughric and Galician speaking peoples when they moved into the dregs of the former Persian Empire in the days of Alexander, or did they "marry them"?

Following up on that question, when the Seljuks came did their men spurn the charms of Byzantine womenfolk?

Hmmmm. So many questions; so little time!

I confess that it is difficult to reapond to some of your more bizarre and sickening comments but I do so in the spirit of sharing the truth, something that you have obviously shunnned in the pursuit of Islamic glorification.

Simply mimicking the Mohammedan Turkish propaganda does not do you nor any one else any service in the pursuit of truth. Maybe the following can can help but it appears that you are bound up and determined to suppress and subvert the truth about the reality of the Mohamadan Turk atrocities against the christian populations of Anatolia and the Balkans.

Turkey was built on the ruins of the oppressive Ottoman Empire and began its nationhood in the 1920's. One of the first acts of the new nation was the systematic annihilation of the Christian Anatolian Greeks and Armenians. Unrepentant of its past crimes, revisionists in the employ of the Turkish Government have been attempting to deny Turkish responsibility for the Greek Pontic and Armenian genocides, or alternatively, to deny their very occurrence. I wonder how you fit into their propaganda machine...

As a result of the Turkish nation's failure to first recognize and then overcome its horrific past, Turkey has continued to perpetrate similar crimes through the decades up through the present ethnic cleansing campaign against the Kurdish people of eastern Turkey.

What makes the Turkish nation's crimes against humanity so sinister in comparison with other human-rights violators is that these crimes are not isolated occurrences but rather part of a CALCULATED mode of behavior, changing little over time and remaining constant across regimes and even political systems.

Your comment on the mass rapes of Greek Christian women by Muslim Turks reveals an obviously confused and very troubling view of what rape is and how it is employed as a method of terror among Mohameddans.

IN fact, as recent 1974, the sovereign state of Cyprus was ruthlessly invaded by Turkey. Thousands were brutally murdered. The rape of the Greek population was so rampant, that the otherwise strict Greek Orthodox Church changed its doctrine and for the first time allowed women to obtain abortions.

Go back to your fairy tales of Finno-Ughric prehistoric migrations but the horrific realities of what Mohameddans and more specifically Mohameddan Turks have perpetrated reound in the memories of those who suffered and survived.

Uhh, Moslems ran Greece for several hundred years. The Greeks refused to assimilate and managed to undertake a revolution that took them out of the Ottoman orbit.

Thanks. I hadn't realized this. You mean the Ottoman Empire? Even though I had indicated Europe instead of just Greece, I was indeed incorrectly thinking of Greece as never having been controlled by a Muslim government (foreign in this case), at least not for very long.

Not just Greece, but Spain, Serbo-Croatia and Albania as well, have had Moslem governments.

Sardinia, Sicily and various other Mediterranean islands have also been ruled by Moslems.

Southwestern France saw Moslem rule.

This should be of some concern to European defense officials since the Islamic point of view is that any particular piece of land that was ever under Moslem rule should be returned to Moslem rule.

For sure no country with a piece of land in that category should ever allow the immigration of any person who is a Moslem since they can never become loyal citizens if they continue to adhere to Moslem doctrines.

I gather you are a Greek.

Were you aware you won the revolution against the Ottomans?

On the other hand, were you aware the Greeks were ready to sell out to the Godless Communistis back in the early 1950s and it was up to the United States to save their chestnuts from the fire?

We couldn't have done that if we didn't have good terms with the Turks.

To a degree it can be argued that today's free society in Greece, which has not been stained with the sort of recent exterminations experienced by the Serbs (under Tito), is a tribute to the modernization of Turkish society under the Republic.

Concerning Greek women raped by Turkish troops, I think that sort of thing goes both ways, eh?! Lot of history there, and I'm willing to entertain a lengthy discussion of it, but you will have to start with Sumer and how subsequent invaders have dispossesed them, stolen their property, appropriated their science and technology, and otherwise tried to forget all about the original native population of Anatolia.

Remember, Turkey was not originally a place of settlement for Indo-European speaking people!

BTW, the Finno-Ughric speaking Sumerians INVENTED WRITING. Ergo, they INVENTED HISTORY, because without writing there is no history. Their "migrations" were certainly not pre-historic!

"I gather you are a Greek. "

What on earth does my ancestry have a anything to do with posting the truth in response to your absurd points. So what are you - a Fino Ughric Sumerian?
Furthermore, I don't need the child's encyclopedia version of modern Greek history...that's for you to decipher.

"...modernization of Turkish society under the Republic."

So far out in fantasy land that any response would be like responding to the mutterings of Kim Jong-ill.

"Concerning Greek women raped by Turkish troops"

Get it straight why can't you? It's Christian women being raped by Islamic Turks. It's a distinct policy observed and applied by Islamics everywhere when they seek to destroy Christians. You need to get out that Fino Ughric Sumerian shell and get up to speed about Islam and the utter devastation it has caused using Turks and others as prime agents of terror.

BTW, the Third Amendment which concerns the quartering of troops in private homes relates directly to a barbarity imflicted by Louis XIV on Protestants on behalf of the Catholic Church.

That's one of the reasons that particular amendment is in the Bill of Rights; without it there was a chance the descendants of French Protestants throughout the American states would reject the Constitution.

What Louis did was issue the "Dragonettes Orders" which provided for the posting of his soldiers in the private homes of Protestants. If those Protestants then began attending Catholic mass everything was OK. If they didn't then the soldiers raped the women, killed the men and ran off the livestock.

It always amazes me to find a Catholic (Eastern or Western) who gets all excited about the Turks (or Moslems) raping Christian women. After all, the Protestants are still waiting on a serious apology from all branches of the Catholic Church concerning the rape and rapine of Louis XIV.

In short, you really have to come to this table with clean hands if you want to make the point you think you are making.

My apology, please ~ get the guy with the tallest hat to write it out for me.

On the public streets, no less. That is what is amazing. They were outside the mosque, I'm assuming on public grounds. They feel or believe that they control that 'turf?' I wonder how far they can push the line of their turf. I'm guessing until it encompasses the entire planet.

These are jackals that need to be put down. The survival of not only Christians and Jews and moderate Muslims but of the entire planet and enlightened civilization.

The Muslim Turks perpetrated the worst genocide of Christians in the 20th century . Paul Marshall in his book, Their Blood Cries Out, co-authored with Lila Gilbert, wrote,

"Although Turkey is now a country with relatively few Christians, this was not always the case. Less than one hundred years ago, Turkey, or rather its Ottoman predecessor, was about 30 percent Christian. This situation changed when some two million ethnic Armenian Christians were massacred between 1905 and 1918, a genocide which the TURKISH GOVERNMENT STILL DENIES." About 1500 Christians remain facing death threats, systemic harassment, and discrimination.

Turkey continues to officially deny its sordid past, continues to coverup and destroy artifacts, monuments, ancient churches that demonstrate previous cultures dominant there, and has links with organized terror all over the mid East and the balkans as well as being the funnel for opium coming west from Asia.

So much more and so litle time.

That's what I am beginning to think. They were certainly bold enough in this action. Reminds me of Kosovo...
