Future use will be a hypersonic cruise missile and by 2025 a hypersonic cruise vehicle (Bomber). Awesome technology!

Are they going to have live speed estimates, or will it be a 'Well, that looked ok' type response and wait for the scientists to decide how fast it went?

Not sure regarding live speed info, but I suspect so.
They have a real-time image visualization using data from the X-43A. As long as they have that data they will display MACH.

It's so fast, time travel comes into play. LOL but I thought the launch was supposed to be yesterday... did they scrap that launch because of weather?
To: Jambe
26 minutes to planned launch. Target is Mach 10, 7000 MPH
