I flipped over to ABC news at 8 minutes into their news, and they had video of Rush and Sean talking about the media's rush to judgement regarding the Marine, and then... I'll be damned if they didn't show FreeRepublic as the example of a conservative website. The quoted a post saying something about the Marines should do the imbeds after they do the terrorists.

Really. I didn't see it. Is there another thread about this?

ABC and the rest know what's going down, they're trying to get on the offense with us.

Yes, there are a number of duplicate threads, and FR is being held up to illustrate how ill informed, or just plain dangerous, conservatives are. :-(

For example, posters have suggested that the Geneva Conventions should be abandoned, that all embedded reporters should be shot, that there's nothing wrong with shooting prisoners, etc.

Unfortunately, I think those extremist views are outside the general range of disagreement on the topic that we have, but that's what gets portrayed elsewhere.

I didn't see a separate thread last night, and don't see one now. I'd post the story from the abcnews.com webpage, put it's a pay per view story.

It's a picture of Sean Hannity at his microphone, but to watch the story you have to pay $$. Maybe someone who's subscribed can post a separate thread.
