I am being sued for something that happened at the December 2000 Freep of Joe Lieberman.
JimRob has allowed me to hold an internet fundraiser to help defray the costs of my lawyers fees.
I am broke and thousands of dollars in debt, and depending on how much I can collect here, I amnot sure if I can continue or work to sign a mutual release if offered.
Right now, we have ended the discovery phase, and are awaiting the deposition of the man who accused me of assaulting him that day.
That charge is a lie.
The following story below is my short account of what happened that day.

Obviously, the "Reverend" has a mighty high opinion of himself, and an exaggerated sense of his own ego. I would be willing to bet that he believes he has more rights than the rest us ordinary American citizens. I would just like to say to the "Reverend," who is supposed to represent truth and justice, including the truth of admitting when HE has committed any type of inappropriate act or engaged in excessive behavior: Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. But how vastly we improve our style when we have practiced quite a while.
(They say Satan is dumb. No, Satan is an intelligent creature, and he is constantly learning new ways to bring misery and mayhem to humanity. Think about it long and hard, Reverend Kimber, though I doubt from your impulsive behavior that you are capable of prolonged thought processes!)

I have to admit, the potential for excess money is causing quite a bit of temptation.
I hope the only way I fail is to fix the car or pay a bill or something that I am behind in due to unemployment.
Otherwise, FR will get a donation much larger than I ever did. It is the only right thing to do.
I am not doing this for Christmas money, I am doing it because I am being sued and cant pay the bill! :)

Unfortunately, if I didn't have such a coffee drinking problem my financial situation would be MUCH, much better and could throw you a few more bills...it's amazing how fast those coffee bills add up! 8^) Now, where did I put my mug....

I have a couple of questions, if you have a minute. Obviously, this guy is a professional troublemaker, so the police (and courts) must be familiar with his tactics. Was there a police report? Does he claim he was injured, and does he have a hospital or doctor's report to back it up? You said the discovery's over, so I assume you took his depo. How did that go; did he just baldface lie under oath about your choking him? I hope you don't mind my asking - this is an interesting case.
