The Swift Boat Veterans gather to assess their impact on the campaign.

Monday, November 15, 2004 12:01 a.m.

BOCA RATON, Fla.--"The last mission of Vietnam War veterans ended on Nov. 3, at 2:08 p.m. Eastern Time, when John Kerry conceded the presidential race to George W. Bush," announced James Warner, a lawyer who was a Marine pilot in Vietnam and spent five years and five months in Hanoi as a prisoner of war. On Saturday night, Mr. Warner gave a "debriefing" on the role that two controversial groups of veterans played in raising doubts about John Kerry's fitness to serve as commander in chief. His audience consisted of attendees at Restoration Weekend, an annual gathering of political activists organized by David Horowitz, a former left-wing radical who fought to undermine the Vietnam War effort as an editor of Ramparts magazine, but who has now changed sides and become a leading conservative writer.

I hope John Kerry's military records get surreptitiously released by some insiders. Would be the coup de grace for this pompous ass who I grew to despise. He had a lot of nerve running for president. I real sign of sickness that the Democrat party chose him to be our next president.

But the day after election day I woke up to find that this menace had been repulsed.

I couldn't understand why someone who knew the circumstances of his discharge didn't come forward.

Or at least leak info anonymously.

"If he were elected president, he would be everything that John Kennedy wanted to be, but didn't have the chance," he told the Ohio State audience.

I never understood what all this bullcrap was comparing the real JFK to the wanna-be JFK, apart from their being Senators from Massachusetts and having the same initials. All parallels end there. The real JFK today would be a republican, or a right-wing democrat. In fact, that's one of the biggest things that turned me off about Kerry--his eager, pretentious desire to be the second coming of JFK. What outrageous ego!

I think the Privacy Act keeps people from saying it directly as they will go to jail or get fined or both. The Secretary of The Navy when Kerry received in Other than Honorable Discharged said all he could in a recent article without breaking the law. I will find the article and post it here

I truly believe that skerry received an other than honorable discharge and it was changed to honorable by that liberal left wing democRAT Jimmy 'I'm a peanut farmer' Carter. You know how the lefties are hang together. During the election, even with their best, they couldn't get that piece of crap elected to office, Thank God for us.

Keep his name in the press and the pressure on his a$$ to NOW sign his form SF-180. Let's see the BIG war hero squirm as long as it takes. MA freepers, call to arms...and impeach that criminal fraud back-bencher who should have been tossed out on his ear looong ago.

Any info leak probably got stopped by the MSM. CBS would much Rather report on false Bush memos.

(sweet! a play on words!)

The LAST MISSION should be a direct-hit and SINK of MR. Kerry's HONOR by the Swifites..It would be equal justice for the VETS to finally BLOW Hanoi John out of the water with facts of his disgraceful (and embellished short-term of duty) military career that would remove all doubt from his staunchest DEM cheerleaders that they backed the wrong HORSE in this race all along.

The VET soldiers and families HE disgraced can finally get their vengence and put the last nail in this clowns career far better than anyone else can (thru movies like STOLEN HONOR, etc). Nothing less than THAT Senator's name being removed from all history (like Stalin's purges) should be acceptable.

Talk about heroes! These guys stepped up and did the right thing, enduring all the cr*p the Democrats (like Lawrence O'Donnell) could dish out. Heroes!

An aside: Carter was in the same Academy class as my brother-in-law who said he was "greatly disliked" by fellow cadets.

Bernard Goldberg leaned back in his chair in amazement. "I think some of them are too intense," he told me. "But screwing with these guys by accusing them of atrocities was one of the biggest mistakes John Kerry ever made. Thirty years later he woke a sleeping giant."

TOO INTENSE

Hey Bernie after what Kerry did to them and just the thought of a lying traitor becoming CIC I am TOO INTENSE

I don't think enough has been done to Kerry

He ought to be driven from the senate and his name should go down in history along side Benedict Arnold ( actually Arnold was a hell of a lot better officer military wise )

While I would like nothing more than to find out that sKerry received a less than honorable discharge, I am afraid that it just didn't happen. My reasoning: He somehow got out of the Navy and promptly enrolled in BC Law School. One would assume that he was using GI Bill benefits to pay for law school. He would not have had GI Bill benefits if he had not received an honorable discharge.

had JFK-2 been elected he would have done to Iraq and the War on Terror what JFK-1 did to Cuba, SE Asia and the Cold War, neither were good for the security of the USA...rto
