The proper response for this is: "You need to get out more."
Good article.
Actually, I think the left is on to something. As a red guy in a 'blue state', I really do think this election was a contest between logical thinkers and mush-brained morons. Nothing makes a person dumber than being convinced he's smarter than everyone else.
OK, NOT the country music, but I'll definitely take all the AP rounds they're handing out.
Just for accuracy, the 'Hoi Polloi' are the common folks, not the 'elite'.
Please change your name.......I just escaped the Scott Peterson thread..and here you are again.
Hillary has stumps and you know it. Call yourself STUMPY and I'll be able to laugh not cringe.
Luv yah!

Great article, and the Trout Wrapper looks like a kick, too.
And hopefully soon to have the Supreme court.
There is another common distinction between the red and blue counties within the US. Its generally safe to walk the streets of the blue counties at night. Walking the streets of San Francisco and Los Angeles late at night, is about as safe as walking the streets of Amsterdam late at night.
Great article!
Them leftists are still wearing the tinfoil hats.
I had lunch today with a lib friend who I have not seen since well before 9-2. We never have talked politics but I did expect a comment from her today. I didn't get one. I don't know if I am relieved or disappointed.
"and a grin that spreads ear to ear."
i love it.
1 - bttt - excellent commentary
Now, that's just not true. I hadn't thought of the Bass Pro Shop part. Hmm...throw in a J.C. Whitney catalog store and I think we gotta deal.
The God, guns and guts contingent is often poor but happy. The cocktail, Commies and Cadillac club is often rich and in therapy.
Ping mom.
I still firmly believe that if we had found just one cache of wmds (I know, we've been finding some here and there), Bush would have gotten at least 55% of the vote. That's even with Big Media drowning out all pro-Bush voices in the worst case of media complicity with a certain party I've ever seen. Even with that, it could have been a slaughter which would have relegated Dems to years of despair. Instead the nutjobs are thinking that three and one-half million votes could have been fixed. But I suppose if Bush had won by ten million, they still would have their tinfoil hats on.
Guess what? Some of us Republicans live in NYC, eat sushi, wear vintage clothes, ride a Vespa, have tattoos, and are way more informed than a lot of their liberal, pansy neighbors. And when those Dims find out we're Republican, they are completely gobsmacked. Yes, we live among you and are not just in the fly-over states. Muwhaaaaaaaaaa.
