The woman with the pink hair and tatoos is obviously not a "yuppie", or could be anti-establishment. She's her own person, who doesn't need to echo trends or styles to fit in.

She wouldn't be in awe of someone like Scott whose shallow, country club life-syle was contrary to hers.

It's not a mistrial; they have a verdict.

I'm not sure who Justin was talking about when he said "they" have kept him up-to-date. He certainly made it his business to follow the case, most likely to keep the string of media appearances flowing.

Until today I'd pretty much avoided him. If I saw him I clicked away. I had read posts here describing what he'd been saying. Today I'm listening and I'm appalled. Just heard a bit of him on CNN and he thinks Geragos is great, Scott is guilty and the prosecution out to pin it on Scott.

And the anchors treat him seriously. I remember way back during the Menendez trial being stunned that adult anchors on Court TV would take loonytunes calls from viewers who liked Leslie Abramson and they were treated as if their opinion was as valid as those who stuck to facts and logic.

Sorry for the ramble.

Noticed she does more than weather - I've seen her reading the headlines at the hour.

There's a plausible theory that OJ took the bullet for his son (the real killer), who's mentally ill. He knew he'd get off, knew his son couldn't.

Man. I thought I'd go the whole trial with not EVER posting to a Peterson thread.

If you've spent more than two minutes over on those "news" threads, then you've seen some.

The same way that Amber could afford G-L-O-R-I-A.

Are they really giving the jury a choice of 1st or 2nd degree murder?

Even if he is acquitted, the feds can charge him with civil rights violations. Then any number of b/s violations.

I would say they have decided he's guilty. Because one of the jurors who just got the boot said he thought he wasn't guilty

Oh, I know. :) We were speaking hypothetically, last night, about possible outcomes.

would what happened to your cousin have affected your judgement in ruling on the facts? if yes, then you did the right thing. But in many cases, defense attorney's simply ask these questions to arbitrarily exclude people and shape the juries to their liking.

"How does a fertilizer salesman afford Mark Geragos?"

Seems like I remember that Scott's parents mortgaged their house in San Diego to pay Gagegos...San Diego home prices are very high.

No, O.J. now lives in Florida, where he plays golf three times a week. And has violent altercations with his girlfriend.

And that boat....

I have a boat very similar in size and construction, and I don't think there is any way he could have dumped her out of it without capsizing it. Having said that, I think he's probably guilty.

I was being honest with myself; I just as easily could have sat on the jury -- heck, you know me -- I could have SWAYED the jury.

I just didn't want to serve on a jury like that, do you understand?

I know, I wasn't commenting as to where he plays golf - I was commenting as to the locale where he was acquitted.

I think they'll find him guilty too...but oh my, I remember another California verdict that shocked me. Of course there have been some good ones too. That man who murdered the little girl in Southern California, and the North Carolina Peterson trial. so who knows? This may be a guilty verdict too.

fingers crossed
