So come on people, get over yourselves. If you don't like it, why even type on here?

I didn't think my comment required a '</sarcasm>' tag. Alas, I was wrong.

Not guilty. The jury was at least hung with all commotion.

There were recent jury replacements, how do you think they affected this sudden verdict?

While I think he did it (80% chance), the 20% part of me had doubt.

Was another plausible scenario presented by the defense? Something that looks more likely than his involvement, that would explain all his lies?

LOL

No...we've got Judge Napolitano so far and he's keeping himself in check pretty much.

this is california, where OJ Simpson plays golf three times per week

Simpson was tried in California, but he plays golf in Florida, where he lives.

I am not all that interested in the case but am wondering about procedures. I presume alternate jurors sit in the audience and are also sequestered. Were they present during the original deliberations? Just curious. I was excused from a jury one and didn't get to sit on the case.

This is a fast verdict.
I can't remember if that's good or bad.
It can cut both ways.

Yes, we lift Sharon and Ron up to be strong for the verdict.

And I hope to see that smirk wiped off of Justin Falconer's face!

And here's another definition, shorter:

California law classifies murder in two degrees—first and second. First-degree murder is premeditated and/or occurs during other crimes, such as arson, rape or robbery. Second degree murder is the crime of killing with the intention of killing, but without deliberation or premeditation.

The odds of there not being one person willing to hold out for guilty are very, very slim.

It was either going to be hung, or guilty.

It's guilty.

The ME couldn't determine if Connor had breathed, or even if he was removed from her body. With the CA nutcases in the jury, I don't think they'll consider him a victim.

I predict acquittal.

I predict conviction...which will immediately be thrown into appeal based on juror antics.

Interesting. Given that they are essentially the same, I'm going to say the jury wussed out and went with 2nd Degree.
