The Clintons knew exactly what mix of cool aid to give to the Kerry team.

It was just the right concoction to seem believable even knowing as they did that it would kill them when they drank it.

But the path was cleared for Hitlery so that is all that mattered. For Kerry to take Clintons advice and then follow it showed poor leadership.

Quel surprise!

It wouldn't have mattered. John Kerry would have lost anyway.

Carville can add to his resume - 'political con artist': Willing to work both ends in the quest to help losers lose without knowing how they lost.

First they blamed the homosexuals, then they blamed the hispanics, now they blame the Clintonistas. Anyone want to guess how long it will be before they get to the Jews?

I'm waiting for them to start blaming the Romulans.

Fact is, nobody couldn make a silk purse out of a sows ear when it came to Kerry. He had no leadership skills, a poor Congressional record, a worse war record and did not know how to tell the truth.

Very succinct and accurate analysis. It's possible that Kerry would have lost by a larger margin without the Clintonistas.

EITHER WAY they are idiots who THANK GOD did not become leaders...

Wait a minute... Isn't this the same John Kerry who said that he wouldn't be the "last to know" about what was happening in his administration and that he would make a better leader than President Bush?

He couldn't even find good advisors to get him elected and he apparently doesn't have a "pair" (as Peggy Noonan so noted that President Bush has) so he could take charge of his own campaign. What a loser!

That's funny. Earlier this week it was voter fraud and diebold machines. Now it's Clinton's fault.

"There is a very strong John Kerry narrative that is about leadership, character and trust."

Those are exactly the reasons why no one could vote for Kerry (as opposed to voting against Bush). Kerry has no record indicating Leadership or character and no none who looked at his life and career critically could ever trust him.

Well, Duuuuhhhh! You knew Biliary wanted to run in '08 and you would be in the way. This way they get to feel good about saving your life, since you would have to commit suicide the Vince Foster way in March '08.

As many suspected early on, Kerry is a lousy exec: lacks vision, micro-manages, is insecure, and treats subordinates like crap. A Kerry presidency would have made the Carter administration look stalwart by comparison.

Just like the Secret Service man who made him fall on the ski slope, with the Kerry people, everything that goes wrong is someone else's fault. Never theirs. Otherwise they'd have to face up to the fact that they're incompetent.

KE04 never really campaigned for longer than a day or two at a time on domestic issues in a positive way. Yeah, they continually slammed President Bush on some domestic issues, but they never articulated a positive message explaining specifically what they would do if elected. This was their big error. I'm not sure they would've won even if they hadn't committed this error, though.
