IMHO, the
'UNDERGROUND ECONOMY' is only reason we do not have border control.
Money talks, migrants walk. (And work, and get driver's license, and have children, and get medical attention, free education . . .)

Letting in cheap Chinese goods has caused a liberalizing revolution in Asia and weakened Peking's Communist death grip as much as all the brave work of Voice of America. Easy to say, harder to prove.

This article is absolutely on-target. Bush's second term will be very difficult. At least Daschle is gone.

"You are destroying America! "You are the reason why the estimate of illegals in the United States is between 12 and 15 million or more."
I don't argue that illegal aliens are a very serious problem, and Bush does not seem to be dealing with it.
However:
1- It has been a serious problem for well over a two decades now, and three past presidents didn't do anything about it either.
2- I don't know the numbers before, and since the Bush administration, but all 15 million illegals didn't just arrive when Bush became President in 2001.
3- To say that Bush is personally "destroying America", is a little over the top, don't you think?
Several things come into play to cause this problem, including the Mexican govt culpability in this problem. Also:
If businesses would stop hiring illegal aliens, and the entire frigging Democratic party stopped trying to take care of illegals with free medical, education, welfare, etc, etc, then this situation wouldn't be near what it is today.
Granted, Bush needs to be held responsible for his share of this problem, but there are a whole bunch of other factors and culprits, including shady businesses, Democrat vote panderers, AND the welfare pimps.
