Ghosts stop barn demolition

Officials in the northern Norwegian city of Tromsø have withdrawn their order that a local farmer tear down an old barn on his property. They accepted his argument that demolishing the barn will anger the ghosts living under it.

I've been trying to figure out how to get the ghosts that live in my condo to help out with the property taxes. I'll keep you posted.

We have an abandoned barn on our property that aches for a controlled burn by the local Fire Department. I DO NOT want my boys playing in there for fear they'll fall 50 feet out of the hay loft. You know boys...the higher the better! We have them convinced that "Stanchion Man" will get them. (A Stanchion is the stall that a cow goes into at night to be milked.)
We've gone so far as to shake chains and make scarey noises and mention "Stanchion Man" at every opportunity to keep their silly butts out of there.
I'm thinking these Norski's are just as smart as we are; their Norski cousins relocated to Wisconsin!
