Another contestant for whiner of the week.

"I faltered. I find it easier to explain the psychology of a suicide bomber than how it is that most Americans like Bush, think he's taking the right course."

This is particularly unsettling.

It just goes from bad to worse with these folks. They have reached the point of having lost all perspective, and are clearly mentally unbalanced.

OK, I have finally decided that the parents of THESE parents need to be slapped silly for the rotten job they did with their stupid brats.

Maybe, if they stop long enough to pull their heads out of their backsides, they can explain it by figuring out simply that it is they who are wrong.

But, based on this comment about the suicide bombers, they appear to have their heads so far up in there that they cannot get out.

Like so many images of that season, this was a hard one to explain to our children, and harder for knowing that what these Afghan children faced in their freezing tent was not qualitatively different from what they'd known before the bombing started.

Apart from the fact that the girls are voting now instead of being gang-raped and shot in the head in soccer stadiums, of course, and the boys are going to school instead of being indoctrinated into suicide bombing. And the small fact that they had no future, and now they do. That's not a hard thing to explain to children, but it seems to be impossible for some adults to get it.

'I wish somebody else could be boss of the people'

On the other hand, it'd be nice for The People to the boss of the people again.

This is America dummy. We don't have a boss of the people. We are the president's BOSS.

The only people who have the president as the boss is the military and federal workers.

Do we want some guy who paints the cave walls with his endless "plans"? Or someone who brushes aside the complexities, who is in fact temperamentally unable to process them, and gets down to the business of feathering the arrows?

The answer is...Number 2, of course.

The sad, no tragic, thing is that these two people have already bred and reproduced.

Melinda is a good writer. She has mastered the use of the subjunctive clause. I suspect too that she lives at the center of her own universe where her motherhood is martyrdom, and objective reality never impinges.

About Kerry we could be open and honest; here was a smart man who wanted to help the poor, revive the economy, end the war and pull our country out of its tight dark hole of fear.

Well, I'll be.....!

From that description, I thought for sure she was describing GEORGE W. BUSH!

A Most Savage Deconstruction of the Whimpering Sobs of a Crying Liberal
Or, EvilDave Takes the Verbal Chainsaw To Melinda Ruley's Dreary Prose
- by Fierce-D

Who wrote this drivel? It reads like some dingbat high school writer trying to raise her grade from a D-plus to a B-minus!

Her initial statement of the obvious is a crudely executed technique to lull the reader into some sort of sympathy for the greasy pablum that is surely to follow.

And this little snippet of stupidity really caught my eye:

"I've no idea why, six thousand years into civilization, the biological urge to band together under a common flag is still so strong..."

To me, this means, "Put on your hip-waders, because there's a tidal wave of BS roaring down the pike!" Well, if she spent less time reading bad Goth poetry and more time reading history, she might know the answer to her own question.

And then, the title itself was a dead giveaway to the pathetic whining within: 'I wish somebody else could be boss of the people'.

Umm, the last time I checked, We The People are the boss of the President, NOT the other way around. Dear God in His Heaven, this civically ignorant wad of crocodile tears and Kleenex is allowed not only to breed, but to cast a ballot as well?

"About Kerry we could be open and honest; here was a smart man who wanted to help the poor, revive the economy, end the war and pull our country out of its tight dark hole of fear."

Yes, Virginia, and come Ramadan-Kwanzaa, if you're a good little Progressive, and take your government-mandated Ritalin, Saint Kerry will break into our house without fear, for we are unarmed, and poop-out lots of presents that he bought for you with the money he took from the Big Bad Exploiters of the People, and place them under our artificial, non-denominational Gaia tree!

That first winter of war, with U.S. troops scouring the Afghan countryside, there was in our morning paper a front-page photograph of refugee children shivering in a makeshift tent.

Cry me a river, missy. At least now, those poor, refugee children no longer live in fear of public dismemberment and execution at the hands of the terrorist government of "pure Islam".

That if so many of us are going to be intentionally stupid, well then, we get what we deserve.

And of course, the truth comes out. Through the whole piece, she portrayed herself as the ultimate in compassionate humanitarianism, bawling in sorrow over the sad folly of our wicked ways. Until THAT sentence. With those words, she let her true, anti-American, vicious, and hatefully Leftist self show.

And finally, the icing on the cake, making sure the Chilllldrennn have the last word:

"I guess," Henry said, breaking the silence, "I guess we just keep trying."

To that, I say, that's right, Little Man, you keep trying. And when you're old enough, We The People will be here, waiting, and we will stop you. Not only will we stop you, we will discredit you, ridicule you, ruin your career of spreading lies, and do whatever it takes to drive your failed ideology back into the fringes where it belongs, so that we can be free to live as we see fit.

But honestly, I seriously doubt that she actually has children, a husband, or even a boyfriend or a steady job. It's a work of fiction my a bad writer who is trying to pull the old heart-strings and shame us into agreement through pity.
