Madonna yesterday told a British radio show she thinks American troops should be withdrawn from war-torn Iraq immediately. During an appearance on BBC Radio 2, the singer told presenter Jeremy Vine the US should concentrate on homeland security rather than "dropping bombs on innocent people" abroad. She said, "I just don't want American troops to be in Iraq, period. My feelings are can we just all get out? Global terror is everywhere. Global terror is down the street, around the block. Global terror is in California. There's global terror everywhere and it's absurd to think you can get it by going to one country and dropping tons of bombs on innocent people." On the subject of George W Bush's re-election as American President, Madonna added, "People are becoming very polarized. We have people who don't want to think, and who just want to guard what is theirs, and they're selfish and limited in their thinking and they're very fearful in their choices." The 46-year-old flirted with controversy last year when critics labeled her video for American Life 'anti-Bush', but ended up withdrawing the promo in the wake of America's invasion of Iraq, fearing 'lynch-mob patriotism'.
Of course she doesn't want the terrorists
to unarm themselves. She wants them to
make it over here and shoot the president!
And rape and pilage all us peons.
I've been seeing several of those bumper stickers cropping up.
Last night I was channel surfing and happened to hear Bill O'Reilly play an audio clip of her interview. BOR busted on her English accent. He said, "She's from Detroit, what's up with the English accent?"
She's got a lot of nerve. It was exhibitionist behaviour like hers that got those ragheads worked up against us in the beginning. I say we round her up with all of the other exhibitionist left wing sluts and give them to Usama to behead. Its a "win win" solution both for us and UBL.
Boy is she smart, I bet she came up with this after hours of breathing deeply into a hot air ballon. You know I saw terrorists not to long ago in NYC, they were flying our airplanes into buildings. So I think if we (no change that) I FEEL if we kill 50,000 - 150,000 Jihadists maybe that can't do this again for a while.
I went to a Veterans Day Parade in NYC. Not only did we have a Veterans Against the War group ( not too many loud cheers) but we had - gasp ! Hillary Clinton. I folded my arms and frowned as she passed by. The businessman behind me let out the loudest BOOOO. Hope there were others along the parade route.
Beat me to it. Hey, maybe she actually followed through with one of those dem threats and DID leave the US! She should encourage others to follow her.
She wears camoflauge in one video and now she's a general?
Does this even deserve a discussion? It is analogous to Bozo the Clown teaching a physics course.
A washed up before she started, no talent, never was, slutty, bleach-blonde bimbo,
... and she's an expert on foriegn policy!
Wow, her husband is one lucky guy!!
"Madonna yesterday told a British radio show she thinks American troops should be withdrawn from war-torn Iraq immediately."
Grow up and take care of your child.
Maddy,
Get on your knees, open your mouth, and swallow. THAT is the best thing you could do for our troops. Nothing you do for the rest of your life will erase your reputation as a liberal whore with money on the brain, and now, power too!
"Global terror is in California."
Hollywood specifically.
On second thought, just shut up!
"Wow, her husband is one lucky guy!!"
True, whoever SHE is.
Shut up and lip sync.
Madonna wants us to leave Iraq. The problem is not Iraq. This elder entertainer does not want to leave the stage. She will try to hang on by making political statements that she has absolutely no qualifications for. She's only a sad, aging entertainer and few people have any interest. Retire with grace, Madonna. Most youngsters don't even know who you are.
I didn't know those little statues could even talk.
EXCELLENT! You described her quite nicely indeed!
