Posted on 11/10/2004 3:37:38 PM PST by no.radar
Chicago Tribune, 10 Nov 04 (Excerpt from article entitled "GIs punch into Fallujah center")...
"A U.S. psychological operations unit broadcast a message in Arabic over a loudspeaker in an attempt to draw out insurgents. 'Brave terrorists, I am waiting here for the brave terrorists. Come and kill us. Plant small bombs on roadsides. Attention, attention, terrorists of Fallujah.'"
Related Tribune article also reports of a Humvee with a loudspeaker blaring Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries," the music used in the helicopter attack scene in "Apocalypse Now."
FINALLY...a war-effort contibution from Hollywood!

Read my post #97 in this same thread. Wagner was a very big anti-semite. It is well known that it has entered his music and his whole belief system by the end of his life. Itis just so universally accepted that he was... I don't just make this stuff up.
Once you are done reading that read my post #103 regarding the movie being an anti-war movie.
Let me know if you still think I am stretching it I will be more than happy to give you a littany of links or just do a Google (which is what I would do anyway)...

Bear in mind that today is the birtday of the Marine core. Every Marine considers November 10 to be his birthday.
Let the boys play whatever music they want. Or do whatever psyops it takes.

"I would play "Raindrops are falling on my head" or "Feelings'. The terroriste will all commit suicide within 12 hours. if that doesn't work, the theme from Gilligan's Island will get the rest.

Did anyone catch the surprising acolade to this soldier by none other than Dan Rather this evening? I was channel surfing and was arrested in mid-click by this awesome photo, and heard Dan's emotional (tears in his eyes) tribute to these men who do the nation so proud. I hope it's not just because his ratings are in the toilet.

I've seen stories on the History channel where they played Wagner in concentration camps.
Wagner is closly tied to the Nazis wether you choose to believe it or not.

"I've heard the jihadis can't stand Metallica. A good amp, good speakers and a CD player with Enter Sandman, No Leaf Clover, and a few other choice favorites on a loop setting."
I think "Creeping Death" would be better.

OMG, EVERYONE STOP BEING FOOLISH Look, it is a known fact that Wagner was an ANTI-SEMITE. Now it doesnt matter what the hell they play over in Iraq, as long as it motivates our guys to kill the scumbags! I dont know how else to say it, but he was an anti-semite.

"Ride of the Valkyries," A little AC-DC would work, too. Hell's Bells, Highway to Hell and my personal favorite, Thunderstruck.

They'll take on an M-60 with a pocketknife if someone makes fun of their masculinity.
No they won't. Jihadists only attack women, children, civilians, bound captives; the unarmed. Faced with a man with a gun they wet their rags and run. That's exactly why this taunt is being aimed at their "masculinity." If it enrages them to come out and attack, they'll be quickly dispatched. If they stay hiding, they'll live (a little bit longer) with the stain of cowardice. These psy-ops are designed to drive the "spiritual" dilemma of the maggots quite nuts.
As I post this, I'm hearing a news report the maggots waved a white flag from a minaret, then fired on approaching Marines.

Don't matter one iota what they listen too.

Expect Hollywood libs to be up in arms about this.

"Wagner is good. But I've heard the jihadis can't stand Metallica."
Metal Militia, Fade to Black, Creeping Death, The Four Horsemen, For Whom the Bell Tolls.
I wonder why these songs would make them nervous.

"I'm not up on my Wagner."
I remember hearing a quote about him:
"Wagner's music is not as bad as it sounds"
If it works, its music to my ears.......
To: pipecorp
Shouldn't they be saying things like" Allah sucks _____ in hell"?
That might get a rise out of those little jihadist terrorists.
Not that I disagree with this statement, but we probably don't want to alienate the general population in Fallujah (if there are any left).
