Internet buzz on vote fraud is dismissed
Boston Globe ^ | 11/10/04 | Rick Klein

WASHINGTON -- As they ricochet around the country on the Internet, the details seem aligned to raise the eyebrows of suspicious Democrats.

[snip]

A week after Kerry conceded and Bush declared victory, those assertions and scores of others from New Mexico to North Carolina have kept alive fierce speculation that Bush's victory either wasn't real or wasn't as decisive as it seemed. With memories fresh from the 2000 irregularities, e-mails and Web postings accuse Republicans of stealing an election.

[snip]

Kerry campaign officials and a range of election-law specialists agree that while machines made errors and long lines in Democratic precincts kept many voters away, there's no realistic chance that Kerry actually beat Bush.

''No one would be more interested than me in finding out that we really won, but that ain't the case," said Jack Corrigan, a veteran Kerry adviser who led the Democrats' team of 3,600 attorneys who fanned out across the country on Election Day to address voting irregularities.

''I get why people are frustrated, but they did not steal this election," Corrigan said. ''There were a few problems here and there in the election. But unlike 2000, there is no doubt that they actually got more votes than we did, and they got them in the states that mattered."

Democrats don't want to look any further into fraud than they are forced to do. They want to keep it in reserve as a future election strategy.

Can't risk exposing the fact that most of Cuyahoga county's voting districts in Ohio reported in excess of 100% voter turnout, can we? Nor do we want New Mexico's machine exposed.

Kerry knew he would be busted, so he conceeded rather than destroy the rats fraud machine forever.

From what I've seen there, I don't know if it's possible to be more inflamed, they are totally irrational over there :)

"But unlike 2000, there is no doubt that they actually got more votes than we did"

There's no doubt about 2000 either.

There are elections coming up in all the states in two years, a grass roots move now in each state to force fixing the so easily defrauded system might be a good thing. Something to put on the ballot in states where it's possible if they can't get their legislatures to fix it.

Of course dimocrats ignore fraud...they count on it...to those whose ethics are situational and the only sin is not getting what you want...

Of course they ignnore fraud...to them it's just another election tool

imo

Conservatives use the Internet to spread truth; Liberals use it to spread lies.

Read an article last night from ABC News and they explained away some of the DUmmies favorite conspiracy stories.

Now the liberal Boston Globe piles on too...Olbermann, though, will keep the story alive so he can get somebody, ANYBODY, to watch his show, LOL.

DU conventional wisdom:(real posts from Du & the MSM)

So much for Indian soothsayers, magicians, diviners and other BS artists.

So much for "John Kerry is a great closer".

So much for "if they counted people with cellphones Kerry would be ahead by 10 points"

So much for: "the Springsteen concert tour will push many undecideds to vote for Kerry"

"the Zell Miller speech will turn-off undecideds and cause them to vote for Kerry"

"the entire south is now back in play with Edwards on the ticket"

"the Swiftvet liars will have exactly no effect on the campaign and will cause veterans to flock to Kerry in disgust"

"picking John Edwards was a shrewd move by Kerry because it appeals directly to the broad constituency of undecided female voters"

"Fahrenheit 911 is going to have an explosive effect and may just be the reason Bush will be defeated"

"don't underestimate the effect Ben Affleck will have when he appears with Kerry-women adore him"

"the race is now Kerry's to lose"

"the sight of 250,000 demonstrators in NYC will all but drown out any message at the Republican National Convention"

"don't believe these Repuke polls-I'm seeing Kerry-Edwards yardsigns EVERYWHERE!!"

"The Bush campaign is becoming more and more concerned about keeping Ohio in the GOP column"

"Ignore the polls, the only poll that counts is the one on election day"

The sight of John Kerry and his band of brothers on the stage at the Democratic convention signaled to the nation that the Democratic party is now able to compete on an equal basis with Republicans on the issue of National security"

"the sight of the proud nominee, a silver and bronze star recipient who was wounded 3 times on the field of battle fighting for this country had to have been a troubling one for Karl Rove and the Bush campaign who know it will be that much more difficult to attack a wounded war hero without turning off undedided voters. The Republican campaign to re-elect George Bush may just have just been checkmated on their most potent campaign issue-national security and the war on terror"

I sleep with the radio on. Heard an idiot on Coast to Coast allege voter fraud on the part of Republicans. I remember him saying there were more voters than eligible voters in Cuyahoga Co. OH. He alleged Republicans stole the election and no one is investigating it. I think Cuyahoga Co. is Democrat. Don't think there were very many stolen Republican votes there.

Not at all. This guy knows if too much attention is focused on this, the real fraud will be discovered. Pennsylvania.
