PATAKI MAN SLAMS BUSH (RINO Christian-hater rears ugly head)
NY POST ^ | November 10, 2004 | FREDRIC U. DICKER & ABBY WISSE

Posted on 11/10/2004 1:23:22 AM PST by Liz

ALBANY Gov. Pataki's top political adviser has trashed President Bush, attacked the "Christian right," and said Bush's re-election means Pataki can't become president in 2008.

The shocking comments by Arthur Finkelstein appeared in the Israeli daily newspaper Maariv, which also quoted the nationally known GOP consultant as saying that in the presidential election, "the Republican Party became the Christian right, the most radical in modern history ever."

Finkelstein, the one-time political guru to former U.S. Sen. Alfonse D'Amato, is also described by Maariv writer Boaz Gaon as "hating" Bush.

In the story, which ran last Friday, Finkelstein accused Bush of trying to "dictate to America how to live and what to believe in."

Finkelstein, who has helped run several Israeli elections, is also described as claiming Bush is more interested in banning abortion than he is in winning the war in Iraq.

And Finkelstein, who told a Boston newspaper several years ago that he is homosexual, described Bush's campaign strategy as being more interested in banning gay marriages than in improving the American economy.

Finkelstein, who is credited with orchestrating Pataki's stunning upset victory over then-Gov. Mario Cuomo in 1994, told the newspaper Bush's victory is bad news for Pataki, a social liberal who supports abortion and gay rights, because it means the "Christian right" is in charge of the GOP.

"Bush's victory not only establishes the power of the American Christian right in this candidacy, but in fact established its power to elect the next Republican president."

Finkelstein did not return calls seeking comment, and Pataki's camp did not return calls.

A prominent Republican familiar with the interview called Finkelstein's comments "a big embarrassment for Pataki.

"Arthur isn't comfortable being a Republican anymore when he's so unhappy with our success and that's why he's so flamboyantly bashing the president."

Looks like an Andrew Sullivan situation... Gay marriage trumps all other issues.

It's not Bush's fault that Pataki won't become president. It's Pataki's fault. Pataki would lose the South, lose California and he'd even lose New York. That doesn't leave much.

Interesting, considering the party was more conservative when he joined.

To win in NY, Pataki had to make a pact with the devil and espouse all the (gag) liberal issues. Now he's stuck with it. What goes around comes around.

Same with Rudy Giulani who also wants to be prez. He was actually on the liberal line. Rudy better figure out he's going nowhere fast.

Like the gay governor of New Jersey who screwed the citziens's safety and security to put his unqualified lover---a foreigner---on the public payroll...........these people have a prediliciton for putting their private parts in play before the responsibilities of public office.

At first I was pleased when the media announced that this election was very much about values. Now I see they are going to use this information to falsely accuse and seriously bash Christians. Despicable.

We need to be aware that the "Uriah Heeps" are out there plotting and planning to co-opt the 2004 conservative victory for their own secret agendas.

The Uriah Heeps of the world would manhandle the social conservative victory----and dilute the presidential mandate conferred by proto-conservatives----for their own self-serving agendas.

The Uriah Heeps could care less for the rights of the unborn and the restoration of conservative values to our Nation-----the proto-conservative issues that drove millions of Christians to the polls. The agenda-laden, elliptical thinkers lurk in the shadows plotting ways to take over conservative victories. It ain't gonna happen. Any mucking up of our hard-won conservative victory will be met with fierce resistance.

Moral issues were this election's key to victory, and moral issues will set the agenda. Every card-carrying conservative worth his/her salt knows what "moral issues" means. Karl Rove knew where to get the "values voters" to give Bush the majorities he needed to win. Rove is not the only one who knows where the "values voters" are.

It's a new day. Libs and RINOS need to live with it.

Finklestein is sucking up to the liberal media elite. He helped run Jesse Helm's campaigns. He will be lauded as coming home, even though they won't question why Finklestein had no problem getting rich helping conservative candidates.

It's not a big deal though, 99% of people could care less who Finklestein is.

And despite your idiocy we'll prove to be the best friends your people ever had.

Sounds to me like Finklestein is ripe for conversion.

Cearly, nobody needs conversion to Christinity more than this hate-filled heathen.

We need to get evangelical Christians to bombard Artie with Christian literature, copies of the Ten Commandments....and closer to Christmas.....maybe a nice Christmas creche.....and near Easter, a nice cross on a chain.

It would seem to me that questions have to be asked about why these examples of the gay community are such "loose canons." Also, I find myself wondering how many of the bitter Bush haters in government and media, etc., are actually members of the gay community for whom gay issues are everything and the real security of the nation is very secondary.

The Reliable Source (column)
Washington Post, September 18, 1996
By Annie Groer and Ann Gerhart
Online at http://www.gridlockmag.com/finktwo/gossip.html

"There seems to be no end of news on the private lives of political consultants. The latest exposee is Republican pollster and strategist Arthur Finkelstein, 51, whom Boston magazine calls a "semi-out" homosexual living with a male companion and two adopted children in a posh, horsey section of Massachusetts's North Shore.

This wouldn't be news had Finkelstein not worked for such vocal Senate gay-bashers as Jesse Helms and Lauch Faircloth of North Carolina, Don Nickles of Oklahoma and Bob Smith of New Hampshire. On the other hand, Finkelstein also works for Sen. Alfonse D'Amato of New York, a gay-rights champion."

Until political correctness took hold, homosexuality was on the list of known psychological disturances. That was changed by Dr John Money at Johns Hopkins few years back....no doubt after rigorous lobbying.

One of the most unnerving disturbances is that homosesuals have savage sexual appetites---something on the order of the Marquis de Sade----- that constantly need sating.

That is why they take big risks to keep sexual partners closeby to sate their cravings---as the NJ gay gov did---- and why they should not be in position of public trust.
