It is evident that a Republican Congress using legislature can impose fiscal misery on those blue counties that they crack under pressure, four years of high property taxes, high sales taxes etc can change even the darkest heart.
I feel sorry for the Republicans living in these states.

I got news for 'em...a split wouldn't be along state lines. Most of Washington, Oregon and California are red areas. The blue is only right in the major cities. That's true of Illinois, Pennsylvania and other blue states as well. If they want to secede, their areas will be nothing but inner city states.

I truly believe that my children will see the breakup of the United States, with Western chunks reverting to Mexico and Northeastern masses joining Ottawa/Montreal. The balance of Canada and the middle of the US will unite to become the United States

Kerry didn't win Pennsylvania, he won Philly. Didn't win Michigan, he won Detroit. Same for New York state and New York City, and other states.

One thing's for sure, if the Blues secede, those of us in Jesusland ain't gonna fight a Civil War to keep them from going.I'm not saying I'd be sorry to see them go, but I sure wouldn't mind shooting a few on the way out. Okay, one. Just let me shoot one. I promise, one and I'll stop

I for one wish the blue states would secede and let us live in peace.
One one condition; we get to ship the libs (and Muslims) out of the red states once and for all!

Let them secede while we are in control. If Hillary is elected in 2008, they won't want to secede.

When do we pre-empt and place embargos on the Blue-areas?

The coastal areas of SF and Los Angeles will be parts that are leaving And, to me, it seems that we can resolve this issue with some well-placed C4.
If we can just make the LA and San Fran basins fall into the ocean, keeping San Diego on the map, then I think California is good to go. We could rightly color it red.
And, we are likely to improve the real estate values of what is currently desert property.
I mean, if these lefties are being serious, then they should just leave. Be more "productive" somewhere else. Be a drain on someone else's checkbook. Be the utter pain-in-the-ass that you are in this country somewhere else.
You know, damn, if I would have know that electing W made this was a real possibility --that we could get these crybaby liberals to want to move to Canada-- I would have tried to convince even more people to vote for George W. Bush! Hell, I would have spent an extra 40 hours on the phones, and several more weeks on the street corner, holding my sign.
Punks.

I would be perfectly content to let the blue counties succeede.
Look at the county by county map. If it wasn't for the megametropolis of NY, Philly, Boston, Chicago, LA, most of the country supported the pres.

LOL! Man, I can see the libs crying and whining about that statement. "Ohhhhh, he's violent! Mean conservatives! I need another pill! Where's my prosac? Where's my valium? Where's my thorazine? AaaAAaaHHaaHhaaaaahagagaga..."

"Some would say, 'Oh, poor Alabama. It's cut off from the wealth infusion that it gets from New York and California,' " said Lawrence O'Donnell, a veteran Democratic insider and now senior political analyst at MSNBC. "But the more this political condition goes on at the presidential level of the red and blue states, the more you're testing the inclination of the blue states to say, 'So what?' "
Mr. O'Donnell raised the subject of secession on "The McLaughlin Group" during the weekend. "Ninety percent of the red states are welfare-client states of the federal government," said Mr. O'Donnell, who was an aide to Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan.
O'Donnell also said they make more money.
1 -- they make more money because it is 2-5 times more expensive to live in big cities. Trash collectors make $90-$100,000.
2 -- if you make more money, you pay more taxes...period.
3 -- if you subtract those who voted for Bush in these states, then you would find that the Bush voters paid FAR more in taxes than those who voted for him.
4 - these "Blue" areas also "supply" (PER CAPITA) FAR more (violent AND non violent) crime, adult illiteracy, illegitimate children, drug abuse AND PROFITS, poverty, etc. etc.
