One popular map circulating on the Internet shows the 19 blue states won by Sen. John Kerry -- Washington, Oregon, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland and the Northeastern states -- conjoined with Canada to form the "United States of Canada." The 31 red states carried by Mr. Bush are depicted as a separate nation dubbed "Jesusland."

Heh, try the blue counties wanna secede. In every so called blue state each major city is surrounded by a sea of red. A sea of red, when considered, that has more per capita guns than the blue counties.
Let each blue county become it's own city state. I'd love to see that.
Them northerners fought a war to keep the South under their thumb. Look at who has the upper hand now.
One thing's for sure, if the Blues secede, those of us in Jesusland ain't gonna fight a Civil War to keep them from going.
Most of the blue states are actually red states with a few blue counties large enough to overturn the red counties votes.(Like Detroit) So do only the blue counties leave or do they get to take the whole state. Or do the blue counties leave all the red states to form one country.

Well, if they seceded, the first thing they'd do is vote themselves national health care, paid parental leave, and mandatory six-week vacations. Then all the companies would move to our part of the country. Then they'd have to build a wall and spend their time hating us. It could get really ugly really quickly.
So where should the capital of the Blue States be? Since the Federal government wouldn't do much besides defense, we wouldn't need that much space. Maybe the ranchers by Colorado Springs could sell us some space for a new Pentagon and a few other offices.
While I like the idea of suddenly moving from an unknown playwright to one of the best in my country*, I still favor staying together. The left in this country is amusing and rarely resorts to terrorism, so we can live with them.
*I'm not really bragging--conservative playwrights are just really, really, rare.
