Rush off his game
Rush Limbaugh

Rush is floundering. He cannot find and hold a position on Specter and sounds utterly incoherent. This post is to counter Rush's rare defalcation and remind his listeners of the importance of acting now to eliminate Senator Specter before he assumes the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee and does great mischief to any pro-life nominee.
We do not need another Borking of a good and honest nominee by this unprincipled and mercurial RINO.
Bork Specter.

Laura is just AMAZING. The BEST talk-show on radio, IMO.

You keep spamming us with that disgusting comic strip... Is that reflective of your views, newbie?
To: NYC Republican
newbie? What is it with some of y'all. Never been a newbie? How long does it take to lose the label of newbie? Your arrogance is telling.
To: NYC Republican
that disgusting comic strip... Is that reflective of your views, newbie? I posted the reasone why I was posting the cartoon and your insinuation is thusly false. OTOH, I have gotten numerous attaboys and only ONE (yours) slur.

I looked up the word "defalcation," and it means embezzlement. What did you mean to say?

What meds have you failed to take today? Rush is not floundering at all on the issue!

Seems like about every few months someone has to start a thread to express their dislike for Rush, almost claiming he has gone senile.
Things happen like clockwork around here, don't they?

"Poor Rush... guy never wants to make a choice between being Republican and being conservative, because his audience is half of each."Couldn't agree more...and I'm a big fan. :{)

Again, Rush was right...wait and see. W. knows what he wants to do and why and second-guessing Bush (and Rove) has not proven in the past to be productive.
We should savor the Republican wins, know that the pressure is on Specter, and the White House is working behind the scenes to get what they want. From the sounds of the press conference last week, I think that Bush plans on getting what he wants, with or without the support of good team players. Besides, he has plenty of ways for getting the message across to Specter and repaying him if he goes off course.

I thought he was spot-on at the Heritage Foundation. He was. Some of those lines were pure genius.
Remember what he said about Specter: that he feels things will come out OK in the end. That ultimately deals were made and ultimately the President will be satisfied.

This whole argument is about getting good, non-legislating from the bench, freedom-based judges in the courts, NOT about the legality of abortion.
I don't think Roe v. Wade will be overturned, but if it is, and I do see a constitutional reason to overturn it, abortions will still be legal in many states.
Hearts, minds, and ultrasounds are the only way to make dents in the abortion issue. Not going to happen in our lifetimes.

There was a big difference between Laura Ingraham and Rush today. I was totally dissapointed in Rush today, but then he is NOT considered a Conservative RIGHT....Conservative, maybe, but definitely NOT defending the Christian conservative group. Maybe we ought to remind him that George Soros supports SPECTER!!!

Rush was a lot like my toddler, today, granted, clapping for himself after every good deed, but he really did give a great speech last night, and I was glad to hear the clips.
Rush's "schtick" is that false bravado. Still, when he thanked the people in that audience, he sounded choked up and humbled. He said something like "You really made my day."

I heard Rush today. This is one of those times when I disagreed with him. Rush had Specter on his show (probably at the request of the whitehouse) just before the Pa Senatorial primary election and wouldn't give Toomey equal time, though some of us requested it.
Maybe Rush doesn't want to face his mistake and his comments have somthing to do with that. Then again maybe not. It's just a thought.
In any event I think he is wrong. I don't think the drive to remove Specter is primarily motivated by panic. After the comments Specter made the day following our win, we the victors smelled blood and decided we had enough. I think we are flexing our large victorious muscles and want the girly man gone.

Some people here think that because they've been here longer than someone else, they have the right to jump on them, as if simply being here longer automatically makes them more informed, more intelligent, etc. In some cases, its because they think they've spotted a "troll" from DU or elsewhere. Sometimes that's the case, but that should be determined by WHAT they have to say, not how long they've been a member of FR.
I guess it makes them feel superior or something, sort of like people that constantly criticize and put others down to make themselves feel better. When I see someone use that to attack a post, I pretty much write their comment off. You should do the same.
