Call Bill Frisk Office # (202)224-3344, Tell him if he wants conservative support in his white house bid in 2008, he must stop Specter. Call the white house (202) 456-1111 and tell the President Christian that conservative America does not want Specter in charge!
I don't understand why the President backed Specter in his campaign over the more conservative Republican.
An error in my punctuation (sorry), but you get the point. Stop the madman, please.
Quit yammering and sit down.
Gee, Thanks!! Finally, SOMEONE posted a thread about this with a couple of phone numbers or something. </sarcasm>
At the time, Bush felt the senate races might be close, and felt he needed Penn.
Specter just cannot be trusted with this position.
Keep your voices heard!
Specter has been stopped. This battle is won. He will play ball. We need him to keep the liberal republicans on board. What we want now is composition of the committee. We want the numbers weightd 12-7 or 11-8 and we want conservatives. Specter needs to chair, he's come around and W wants to work with him. It's over.
No, it's far from over. Pressure is increasing.
Keep calling, everyone.
The reason is simple math.
Boot Specter out, and you lose the votes of Chafee, Collins, Snow, and maybe McCain.
IOW, the GOP would be in worse shape approving judicial nominees than it was before last Tuesday.
It is. Rove's imprimatur yesterday was the death knell: "We take Senator Specter at his word." That now brecomes a loose noose around his neck.
tell the President Christian
Call Bill Frisk Office
Huh?................
I just called Frist and his mail box is full...FOX reported on the firestorm.Keep Freep'n!
If Specter gets the chair, can he be removed by the Reps if he does not vote to confirm conservative judges?
I don't think it's over. From what I understand the thousands of calls are still going on, and the members are discussing behind closed doors...just not saying much in public.
Keep calling, everyone.
Exactly, this fight is over.
He is certainly smart enough to understand that he has been granted a stay of execution, and that he has the support of the people who matter. You're right. He will play ball.
You didn't read what I posted. Simple math dictates that muscling Specter out could screw up all kinds of stuff with the four other moderate Republicans. The word is out that Specter is in. You're wasting your money calling further.
Keep the calls going, folks.
Let them hear that Specter cannot be trusted.
yes i agree with sinkspur,
go and read hugh hewitt or powerline blog.......don't let this gt to be a jihad where we look over zealous about all this.........the senate goes by certain rules and such and it is his turn plus he can help control some of the other RINO'S like Snow and Chaffee etc. I think he has gotten the message and even though you don't agree with him on abortion don't end up looking like a Democrat that slashes and burns on one issue only...........let's stay together on this stuff.......Bush will get his nominee's thru and Spector actually makes a decent barometer on the mod repub's already there..........hell if you get rid of him he can be all kinds of trouble PLUS.........if we do anymore than witness to our beliefs, then we will look like crazy Dem's or jihadist who have no tolerance for anything but what they believe.........have patience.....Bush will get what he wants and we will stay united...........but go read some of the other Repub blogs.......they explain it better
